Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is good and the faculty members are also good. They are very helpful and supportive. The faculty of physics is very good. They gain knowledge like Newton had. At last, They are very good.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

A lot of internship opportunities are available. You can get internships in many MNCs like TCS IBM AMAZON, etc. You can also go for off-campus internship programs. You will get a decent internship cost from these companies.

Placement Experience :

The placements at my college are very decent. Many MNCs come here with a package of 6,7,10,12,15 LPA. The placement percentage is around 85 mostly all of the students get placed. And if you want to go for off-campus placement you can go for it but you will have to improve your skills.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee Is around 4 lakh for the total course. A lot of job opportunities are there & you can also get scholarships here around 60k per year for those who belong to West Bengal. And for those also who belong to Bihar (Bihar student credit card).

Campus Life :

Campus life is very good. There are cricket grounds, football grounds etc. There are many clubs like GDSC, sports clubs, poetry clubs, photography clubs, dance clubs, etc. The infrastructure of the college is very nice.

Admission :

First, you have to take wbjee exam and you have to score around 15k to 20k to get the AEIE branch. And if you want to get more higher branch then you have to score a good rank. So that you can get the upper branch.

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.

Seeing stcet again through my eyes

Placement Experience:

Students from the 4th-year 7th semester onwards become eligible for all sorts of campus recruitments. Cognizant technology solutions are the principal recruiter. Other companies which used to come during this time include Infosys, Odesha technologies, itc infotech, and others. All these companies generally take many students from our campus. During our time around 88% of students got selected from our batch. Out of which many students got double job offers from cognizant and Infosys. Some got job offers in sonodyne, Vodafone, and other companies. The highest package was offered by cognizant which was about 6 lakhs per annum. An average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum was offered by Infosys followed by itc infotech which offered roughly 4 lakhs per annum. After getting the degree I will pursue Ms maybe or maybe I can opt for MBA too. Also, I can sit for ies exam. Let's see what happens.
