Generally the faculty is friendly and highly knowledgable. All the faculty is always ready to help.
LDCE has a large sports ground which can host games like cricket, football, kho-kho and many more.

College campus is large but few of the rooms are old and have limited amenities.

Course Curriculum Overview :

BE Mechanical is a very stable and evergreen branch. The placement percentage is very good in my college. Also, there is sufficient and highly talented faculty in all core branches. Exams are taken twice in a semester. One is mid-sem taken by the college and another endsem taken by GTU.

Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 1500 per year

Placement Experience :

Campus placement starts from the 7th sem. Around 100 companies visit for placement every year for all different branches. The highest package offered was around 18 to 20 lpa and the average was 4-6 lpa. More than 70% of students get placed every year across all branches.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

It is a government college so scholarships are not required because the fee is 1500 per year only. However, if you decide to stay in other authorized hostels and PGs you can avail scholarships like MYSY and Foodbill based on their eligibility criteria.

Campus Life :

The annual fest of LDCE is very famous in the whole of Gujarat. It includes several activities, competitions, and performances. The library is good, you use it to study in silence and books are also available. Few of the classrooms are smart classrooms and few are halls for events and orientations which are Air conditioned. Other classrooms are not air-conditioned. College-level activities are also great. Including team as well as solo sports, outdoor as well as indoor games. There are several clubs in LD run by students, you can join them based on your interest.

Admission :

The Admissions are done mostly based on Gujcet and HSC board scores. The application process is simple and completely online by a government platform named ACPC. The admission process includes 1 mock round(for practice) and 2 online rounds. However, if few seats in colleges are left then offline rounds are also considered.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because the future is AI and it has better job opportunities in the future ..there will be 70 students in each class and 25 sections overall in cse. there will be a sufficient number of faculty in every class. there will be one mid-exam and one end-semester exam for each sem, they are really supporting.

Decent choice, especially for tech-based fields

Placement Experience:

Quite a few placement and internship opportunities are present. Students are generally offered summer and winter internships in the 3rd year along with 3 models to choose from, a regular model, an internship model, and an IEEE model for IEEE student branch members. There are a ton of collaborations with different companies. Internship and placement opportunities are available from companies such as TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Corizo, etc.
