Hostel Life.. hostel Life here is very very amazing. You will definitely enjoy a lot.
Clubs for each and every hobby that I can thought has a seperate club in college

Dislikes

Infrastructure some of the buildings here had became very old and doesn't look good
Teaching staff, professors don't put that much efforts to tech students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have choosen this course because I have more interest in circuital courses. Faculty to students ratio is 100-130 students per class which will be taken by 1. professor along with 3-4 teacher assistants All faculty members are PhD holders. Exams are conducted twice in a semester of 6months.

Class Size : 130Course Fees : INR 230000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are not that much good when we compare them with other top iits Companies visit are Amazon, Google, Flipkart, sprinklr etc average stipend they provide is 40-60k. We have to clear coding rounds and interviews conducted by respective companies

Placement Experience :

From 3rd year onwards students are eligible for internships Ani placement There are many companies visited like Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, Amazon, sprinkler etc The highest package offered was 65 LPA and the average package was 14LPA The percentage of students getting placed is 76-80% Growth in the tech sector is my main goal

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is quite good. A student who doesn't belong to any scholarship scheme has to pay around 2.3 lakhs per annum. But for SC/ST and also for economically weaker sections there are certain scholarship schemes in which their fees are reduced to a greater extent depending on T&C.

Campus Life :

Major Annual fests here are Srijan , concetto and khanan. Which Srijan is the annual cultural fest, concetto is the annual technical fest and Khanan is the annual geo-mining fest. Fests are quite good and refreshing. The library on our campus is Asia's 2nd largest library. Classroom amenities include, benches, fans, digital boards, ACs, projectors There are separate clubs for every sport. sports here are, Volleyball, basketball, squash, gym, weightlifting , boxing, football, hockey, cricket etc There are various social groups in college including tech and cultural.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility here is very good. Rooms allocated for 1st year are not that good but 2nd year onwards hostels are very good. Infrastructure is new, advanced. Mess is also good, for vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is arranged separately. Also, breakfast is included. During physical reporting, you will be guided accordingly for hostel accommodations

Hostel Fee : INR 40000 per year

Admission :

We have to appear for an entrance exam named JEE mains + JEE advanced. You will get an IIT college based on your jee advanced rank. The cutoff for my course i.e. bachelor of technology in electrical engineering in iit ism Dhanbad in the OBC category was about 2500. The admission process will be conveyed to you in JOSSA counselling.

Life in my college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college pretty good. Most startup's and tier 3 companies visit in collage for campus placement. • From 7 semester students become eligible for campus placement drive. • Name of the companies visited are Nathcrop , BYJU'S , Tata Motors etc , 300 plus offers they make it. • 70 % student got placed • I am graduated student from that college. So i am currently working in a company which i applied for.

Placement Experience:

From Sixth semester students becomes placement eligible. Hero, Bajaj, Ashok Leyland, Infosys, HCL, Accenture, Vipro, Tata and there are more companies visits for hiring. My plan after the degree is to get a good placement if I can get one.

Expensive but Worthy

Placement Experience:

KK College only got a placement of 10% in all the branches. Companies like Tata Steel Infosys Larsen and Toubro come every year and take 5-10 students from each branch and they pay you the average amount of 300000 rupees per year and the highest package up to now is 500000 rupees. Students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year and the placement ratio is not that good but she will get the best placement in KK college and most of the students who is not getting placements got a good percentage of marks in the competitive examinations.
