Course Curriculum Overview :
On average, about 7 students per faculty is assigned for the completion of the thesis, which is divided into 2 semesters. Field trial takes an average of 6 months to complete with 3-4 students under the supervision of a faculty. The class strength ranges between 28-30 students. Faculties are required to be at least NET qualified with a Ph.D. in the subject. Exams are done every six months. 2 weeks prior to the exam date schedule is released so students have ample time to prepare.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees hike every year at 10 percent. Students are eligible for scholarship programs that are provided by the University of Lucknow. For BPL there are financial aid programs that are provided by the University which can be opted for with proper documentation and verification.
Campus Life :
An inter-university annual fest takes place every year during the month of September. There is a vast variety of books and journals provided for students at the college library. An annual sports competition takes place wherein students can take part.
Admission :
Eligibility for a Master in agriculture and allied sciences is first division grade in Bachelor in agriculture or sister fields of agriculture. Application forms and dates can be found on the college's website. Application dates start from the end of June and are available till the first fortnight of July. The entrance exam is conducted between the last week of July and the first week of August. College fees increase yearly by 10 percent. Standard reservations are available for different classes of society.
