Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I have a keen interest in commerce and industry and Bcom is best for that overall so I chose BCom. Our faculty is very good and nice towards students and I must say the faculty and student ratio will be 1:2 approx. Teachers' teaching methods are very easy and flexible in nature they make us understand the concepts in the way we want. The exams were semester-wise each semester of 5 months approx. and I don't feel it is difficult to pass and of course, it depends on how students study.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 16890 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are many internship opportunities available here. Companies like Deloitte, Delta X, Accenture, Teach for India, etc. I got selected in many companies' assessment tests I have cleared but the interview process is so hard I couldn't get it through.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I would say the fee is extremely high as compared to other government colleges or other universities they take very minimal college fees like 3k or 4k maximum but here in our college college fees is very high 15 to 16, triple or more than triple fees are charged by our college. The cost of studying at Delhi University is very high. There are government scholarships.

Campus Life :

Life on campus is pretty good here. Our college regularly does several fests one of my favourites is Manjiri which was held in April 2023. The library is also good, we can easily get any book in the Library and the sports complex is also there and many societies are also there to interact with others.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel faculty is good but I didn't like the food quality provided here. Here we get 3 times meals breakfast lunch and dinner. The registration process for a hostel is like an application form filled up and then cutoff-based selection and then an interview.

Hostel Fee : INR 170000 per year

Admission :

I was admission to the BCom program at Daulat Ram College, Delhi University. It was merit-based admission and I got admission in 1st cutoff itself. The first cut-off was 96.4 in OBC. No improvement required admission process is very easy.

Brief of Sri Aurobindo College

Placement Experience:

Campus placement in my college is pretty average as only some people get selected while companies come to recruit student who are in their final year. The average package offered to the students in here is around 4,00,000 to 5,00,000 and the highest package anyone has got is about 10,00,000. Meanwhile some people do not go for the campus recruitment as they want to pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

From 5 or 7th semester the students become eligible and various big companies like Deloitte and big 4 have visited and give various offers to the students highest package is 21.5 lpa and average package is around 5-7 lakhs pa My plans are not sure I'm looking into videography field by travelling as much as I can.

Due to my interest in Accountancy subject, I chose this course instead of B.Com program. Besides, this course provides more knowledge in real life than the program course. I like the college life!!!

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my particular course that is BCom (hons) it does not provides any choice for the AEC cource in 2nd and 3rd sem, student have to select hindi which is not good at all. Every sem is of approx 4 months, so the frequency of exams is after every 4 months and one has to clear 7 papers in order to pass the sem exam.
