Remarks :
i don't think i would be able to sum up in 50 words if i talk of the management people sitting there are the devils of the hell they are not at all cooperative. they are nice when you are their for admissions but once you get here , no one would care about you , But the faculty here is outstanding they are the perfect image .
Entrance Preview :
First of all i was a PCM+CS student but i din't wanted to go for engineering or the other traditional sectors. I was interested in writing and other public communication sectors,. I got to know about this college this college belonged to ZEE group which gave a spark to my eyes . If you want to persue in media then what else can be better than ZEE.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I would talk about my course. In our Mass. comm. the course is well planned for the industry. i have heared that the college course is always completly different from the industry . and all these doubts erased when i went out for internship every software or the techniques on which i worked was so much same as our college course. that was the result of our teacher's personal experience in their respective fields.
Internships Opportunities :
No the college doesn't provides internships at all. But the teacher's help us in getting the internships from their contacts.
Placement Experience :
The companies like ZEE , ESSEL, Times of india , oppo , vivo, aptara, 99rooms and the list is endless comes here every year for the drive and almost every student gets their job in the desired sector. However the packages provided have never been too good, they are always average.
College Events :
Annually there are three major events celebrated in our college the fresher's night i.e. PARICHAY, the annual college fest i.e. EXPRESSIONS and an annual meetup i.e. ABHIVAYKTI. On that the college also regularly holds DJ nights Mushayara and occassional events . But the saddest part of this college's events is they don't call any celebrity , the people who are called are low budget singers.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee is good when you look towards the college parent company ZEE. But when you look towards the management and other administration related factors it's toooooo expensive . trust me they are charging 50% more than they actually deserve. Unlike the other colleges who are a bit linient in taking the fee they never co-operate with students. Let's say if someone's father is dying then too they won't increase the time limit for him on that if he submits late they charge 10,000 extra as fine. Fee structure is a night mare here.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
no nothing is provided from the college. this universities administration understands the factor of TAKING NOT GIVING. for them we are customers not students.
Campus Life :
gender ratio is good . But here you won't find any unity among the students. In this the universities admin is equally responsible . they don't say anything to the haryana or the north eastern group students , instead of if you are from the other states your life is a complete hell here. the college won't leave any stone unturned to disturb you. so if you are from these two states then it's a heaven for you.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel and mess is the best and the proper and idol representation of hell . Rooms are always full of insects and worms. the food is cooked in the most unhygienic conditions. the food tastes like shit. But if you pay extra other than the hostel and mess fee you will certainly get something delicious , but the an insect or glass piece or something absurd as topping . trust me all this is not a joke but the truth. There's no proper security here, the guards who are on the duty are just for the namesake. if something's get damaged from anyone then be ready to pay a hefty fine because the hostel management doesn't want a certain group of students to face any danger.
Alumni/Alumna :
Nope they aren't there's nothing like alumni here, none of the students turn their faces towards the university as everyone wants to get rid of them as soon as possible.
Exam Structure :
The scheduling of the exams are very good we get proper time for every next paper . The practical dates are also not too hectic we get proper time for the practicals too. Overall the exam structure is a bit laid down which is i don't think too good for a students long run.
Admission :
First of all i had to appear in a screening test upon clearing it i had to go for an one on one interview where i had to face some situational questions as well as general knowledge based and some of them were based on my background. Finally when i cleared it i was welcomed here.
Faculty :
Our faculty members trust me they are that perfect image which our books portray about the teachers. these faculty members are always ready to help us both in studies and in our personal lives. they take the pain like parents . they are not behind our degrees but they are pushing us for our great future. All of them have worked in their respective fields and have a great experience of the industry which is helping us.
