It is an essential component in any professional education and also to the students of all departments the cell contacts industries throughout India for the summer training project work of the students afaculty member is looking after the Training and Placement Cell the Cell is taking up career guidance for students and arranging Campus Interviews It also arranges Entre preneurship Motivation Camp forthe students to take up Entre preneurship as an alternative career.

College Events :

Physical and infrastructure facilities for sports and gamesThe following facilities are available in the sports and games one cricket ground one volley ball court one badminton court basket ball CourtFacilities like multi-gym and other sports materials are available for use by students incentives for students who are proficient in sports certificates and Medals are being awarded to meritorious sports men and women students representing university in Inter University Sports and Games competitions are being provided with track suits and blazers.

Exam Structure :

Semistar wise exam all post graduate courses are 4 semistarwise except MCA.MCA is 6 semistarwise course in science school,there have practical and labwork also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

sociology as an academic discipline is really sought after in the recent times. it is considered as one of the most sought elective chosen by the upsc aspirants and the discipline in itself gives you a great chance at understanding your society and other societies about how they function amd operate, provides knowledge about various cultures, health, environment, city structure and so much more. you can pursue higher studies or go for NET exams right after post graduation. you can also work with ngos and other nonprofit organizations. each semester is ideally of 6 months and two exams are there. the difficulty level of exams would range from moderate to high

Remarks:

Negative point is found are coming but the authority not work properly for the infrastructure development of University and also lack of working staff so many things are work slow students get harrsed for it. Not good i think its not a university to get a grade by NAAC

As we were in general Post Graduation period. There hadn't that much opportunity for us in campus selection. Still, some media houses came in.

Admission:

First I appeared the exam conducted by MPMIR ( Masters in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations) dept. After clearing the examination, I appeared for the counselling conducted by PMIR (Personnel Management & Industrial Relations) dept at Utkal University and joined the course after paying govt dues.
