  • Strict dress code-The students are not allowed to wear collarless dress and jeans pants inside the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had chosen Analytical chemistry as a specialisation during my master's. Earlier the specialisation starts after 1 year (the first year was general chemistry). Now the academic syllabus and scheme have been modified a lot and more specialisation courses such as analytical chemistry, general chemistry, and material chemistry have been included. All the faculty have a minimum qualification of Phd. The teaching methods include online classes, seminars, presentations, offline classes etc. The student and teacher rapport is really good and the staff are so supportive and friendly. The campus provides a vast library facility which is really helpful and beneficial for students during their exams. The exams are found to be a little tough as there would be a time restraint. The academic activities, presentations, journal club meetings, and others would put more pressure on students as they will find it very difficult to adjust the time over the course of their studies.

Placement Experience :

The university offers a lot of campus placements during the last year of the course. There are more opportunities for Computer and MBA Students, as well as reputed companies like GOOGLE, ACCENTURE, ORACLE, CAPGEMINI, INFOSYS, and WIPRO etc, come for placements. The minimum package offers are also really good. The average package is about 6-7 LPA to highest package of 13- 15 LPA. Nearly 70% of the students are placed in good company after their graduation.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is a vast difference between the fee structure for different courses. The university provides financial assistance for the candidates based on their performance and their financial background. The campus provides a good opportunity for job.

Campus Life :

The campus life seems to be really great when it comes to the fest. They organise different fest like dance: extravaganza, Blossoms etc. and many other tech fest during the academic year. The university is well known for its rich collection of books and the library facilities are par excellence. The students have access to many international books journals and scientific reports. The classroom amenities are really amazing: equipped with a projector and other online study materials. All classrooms are found to be always neat and clean Along with academic performance, the university focuses on extracurricular activities like NCC, Foreign language studies, and many other too with the brief of sports including football, cricket, basketball, volley ball, kabbadi, chess etc.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities are really amazing and mind-blowing. The hostel rules are strict and attendance has be to registered each day through biometric devices before 8 am in the morning and 9: 30 pm at night. Students are not allowed to go outside after 9; 30 p.m. without the warden's consent. If we miss the biometric attendance a fine of rs 200 will be charged. Earlier the hostel didn't provide food due to concerns over hygiene. Nowadays they are providing the food within the hostel from outside. The students are free to take meals and dinner from outside without any restrictions. The hostel rooms are equipped with free wifi facilities on each floor and indoor games like chess, carroms, and tennis can be played inside the hostel. Many restaurants and shops are available within the campus to cater for the needs of the students. For those who prefer to stay outside the campus: SG Palya strrets has plenty of hostels and rooms available within a rent of 5-7k per month.

Admission :

The admission process starts during the time of January. The interview was conducted in 3 stages. The candidate can select the interview date as per the availability during the online process. Candidates can apply during the end phase of their academic Year. Application fees and application form varies for different department and be found on the university website. The interview be conducted in 2 \3 rounds. Once you get a selection, the results will be declared within 2-5 days.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The practicals were not well taught or prioritised. it is very important for us to learn and train in Psychometry but it wasn't seen to that that every student is aware of the psychological tools. Curriculum could be more vast and the students can be made to choose their specialisations based on their merits and strengths rather than a matter of choice alone

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it particularly focuses on the clinical side of Psychology and I was always keen on learning about psychopathology. The exams are also very spread out making the students not stress about academics a lot. The practical exposure should be given and the assignments should include more research according to me.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course because I had an AIM for that as my career. I wanted it to be my passion, source of income, etc. The faculty were all more than 5 years of experience and in my batch, 70 students were there. The best about the teaching is that they are so smoothly with the syllabus. The term tests were conducted based on the completion of 3 - 4 chapters. The level of difficulty was moderate also they used to guide where we had done a mistake. And overall teaching is good.
