Course Curriculum Overview

I'm pursuing mechanical engineering. There are 30 sits for a batch of mechanical engineering and approx 15 faculties in the mechanical department. Faculties are experienced in their field and supportive and friendly with students and also encourage students. In college, there are total 8 semesters and before every sem, there are 2 internal exams also.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities

You can do internships with the permission of the college. After 7th sem college will send you for internships to different companies. Students also goes for apprenticeship. If you like you can make your won project and show it .

Placement Experience

After the 7th sem, every student will be eligible for campus and placements. And college gives placement training from 3rd year. Which will help you in your placement. The average package is 5lac. 85% of students get placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

For mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering the course fees is Rs 125000 per year. And for CSE, CST, AIML, CS-IT it is Rs.150000 Per year. If you need financial help you can apply for the post matric scholarship, national scholarship through odisha scholarship portal in which college will help you and assist you.

Campus Life

The fest of our college is Tri Fest. And also tech fest is conducted. It is a 3days programme and every student participates and enjoys it. In tech fest, there are many competitions, who will win they get prize money. There are different clubs and a library from which you can issue books for yourself for your study.

Admission

Admission through the JEE main scores and ranks. And then apply through the NIC website then you choose your branch. And if you want you directly come to the college then they will help you with your admission procedure.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We specifically study about circuit analysis and electrical machines in our electrical engineering. In laboratory we study about how electrical machines work in different circuits and different connections. We also study about analog electronics circuit. We are tested in our laboratory to perform practicals. We are also given assignments and questioned well in our viva to prepare us for our future campus selections. The question paper is equally difficult to make us ready for seminars and project preparation.

An Honest Review of My college Experience

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited to our college like Tata,Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Accenture etc . Our highest package in computer science is 1200000 per annum and Average package is 500000 per annum. Percentage of students getting placement is actually varies by year and course and average 40 to 50% students get the placement offers . My plan is qualifying gate with a good rank and do my higher study mtech.

This university has a higher rate in providing placement to the students.approximate eighty percentage of students getting campus.i had also got a campus in my final year.From the forth semester students gets a chance to sit in a campus test .There are lots of national and international companies visited to this university they give a lot of offer to the students.The average offer package by the companies are three lakhs a year.

Life at Trident college

I chose Trident academy of Technology due to its affordable fees , decent placements, Faculty support.The admission process was based on JEE Mains scores,followed by counselling.Compared to KIIT or CET ,TAT is more budget friendly but lacks advanced labs and strong industry exposure . Placement are decent , especially for IT roles . Trident is a private college and in 2021 it was the only college we could afford.
