Placements in our college is very good and glvery good companies come for placement
Faculty members educational qualifications is very good

Dislikes

Campus life is very boring. There is nothing you can enjoy
Faculty members only speak Tamil which is a very big no go for non tamil students

Course Curriculum Overview :

As an autonomous institution, the course curriculum was more useful and the faculty members were good. Most of the faculty members only speak Tamil which is a drawback. The qualification of the faculties was good.

Internships Opportunities :

The mechanical department provides many internship opportunities as they have a tie-up with Aiema and they grant us many internships at Ambattur industrial estate. These internships are mainly production engineering based

Placement Experience :

Placements in our college are very good. Almost 90% of the students get placed. Many companies like Hyundai, Renault Nissan, Larsen and Toubro, etc come for placement every year. After 3rd year, they are eligible for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The basic fee when getting admission through Tnea is 1 lakh per annum then bus fees and other fees extra. my fees came to a total of 1.7 lacs per annum after adding all the extras. You have many scholarships available.

Campus Life :

The campus life at Sairam is not that great. Annual fests and tech fests are very rare(only happened once and it was pretty bad). Classroom amenities are also not that good. If you want to play any sports you can only play after college hours that is after 4 till 6 pm. Then you only get the college bus up to Tambaram. so long-distance students playing sports is a very time-consuming job.

Admission :

I applied through Tnea and I got in through and their admission process is based on the 12th cutoff marks and I got in on the 2nd round of Tnea. My cutoff was 179.5 and opted for Sri Sairam engineering college. In the trial round itself, I got into Sri Sairam engineering college and then went to college and got admission.

Placement Experience:

3 yr students are eligible to get placed.particularly japanese placements come around that time.and general placements comes in 3rd yr 6th semester! Jsw, Renault Nissan are some of the companies that come! Highest in Japan 32 lpa , general - 12 lpa. 99.99% get placed.

Placement Experience:

My college allows you to get internships from the 5th semester. Campus placements can be availed 7th semester onwards. The highest package offered was I think about 1cr per year and the average being about 8-9LPA for my course. My plans after my degree is to work.

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college .
