Course Curriculum Overview
I choose civil engineering. Faculty: student ratio = 1:60 for Lecture, 3:60 for Laboratory. All the faculty of all branches qualified by the GPSC exam of our college. The teaching method was nice and whenever required faculty teaches nicely with the help of a projector. The overall learning experience was nice. The course was completed by the stated time by GTU University. If attain all the lectures and laboratories, we can easily pass the exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
As the college was the government, you only have to pay 800/-(boys) per semester and exam form fees 550/- per semester. For TFWS(tuition fee waiver scheme) student fees were 300 for each semester. Students can apply for the MYSY scholarship and the Digital Gujarat scholarship. Other scholarships are also available for a student who holds Niram cards.
Campus Life
As we belong to the Corona batch, so we didn't enjoy any tech fest or annual fest. You can get each book from the library. Classrooms have enough seats for all the students with a nice blackboard and a rise platform for the facility. Student can participate in sports activity when GTU provide sports week.
Admission
Admission was done through the ACPDC website on the basis of the 10th or 12th results. There was no entrance test for admission. If you wish to take admitted to diploma engineering, you just have to first register yourself on the ACPDC website on the stated date. Then your merit rank display after some days. With the help of merit, admission was get.
