college is not good at all. no admissions here . college is not so famous.i have a good experience here.there is no gym and wifi here that they offered in the brochure . they are cheating us by offering fake details in brochure

Entrance Preview :

I write KEAM entrance exam I just put the allotments. I choose aeronautical engineering for a variety and I selected this college in the allotment.then I came here.there was no interview .i joined here because I like the atmosphere .i like aircrafts so I selected aeronautical engineering

Course Curriculum Overview :

aeronautical is a very good course. it has wider opportunity .it focuses on practical learning .no research initiatives taken by the institute

Internships Opportunities :

yes, of course, they provide the internship . the experience was very good.average stipend amount 3250 as I m aero it is very expensive

Placement Experience :

placement scenario is good.almost 50% students got placement.major companies like Wipro,hal,hmt,decan.they got average package 50000

College Events :

college arts and sports were there. we conducted an aero tech fest flevermaskine. mech fest,nss and cultural programs and charity works.it was all small fests.our college football team played well last year. football tournaments conducted.a good organisation and the college authority contributed well

Fee Structure And Facilities :

affordable fees. fees concessions for merit students .students scoring 75% marks in one year have no fees. those who score 65% have only a fee of 8500. this small fee structure is not there in any other management colleges

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

yes, the college provide scholarship/ loan.yes they help in. they gave a scholarship to merit students

Campus Life :

not so good in extra curriculars.i didn't get ample opportunities to explore my inner talents . no facilities here

Hostel Facilities :

i m residing in hostel.no single rooms . one room shared by 4 students.i pay 45000 per year for food and accommodation .hostel food is good. we get chicken almost everyday .food menu is great

Alumni/Alumna :

very good interaction with alumni. the college provide a proper platform for student- alumni interaction. alumni contribute in the overall development of the college as well as students

Exam Structure :

sometimes exams and labs are very frequent and make us tired.no chill was at all

Faculty :

some are well qualified while others are not.well experienced faculties were also there.faculties are very much interactive .they are very friendly and helpful in academics.they have a good standard of teaching

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
