- Faculties are very Friendly and Supportive towards everything. They help us a lot both personally and professionally.
- Infrastructure is the most attractive in DSHM. It is fully Air conditioned. Very comfy area.
Dislikes
- Everything is good but a very Small campus.
- As it’s a college and does not have any ground area so miss Sports activities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose HM because I love the hospitality industry and only this industry gives us the option to work in the private or government sector and gives us many opportunities to work in aviation, Hotels, and many more. Faculties here in DSHM are very friendly and supportive. We have various batches of 20-30 students as per admissions. Faculties are highly qualified and have various different teaching methods. Exams are conducted timely, and 2 internal exams and 1 external exam with internal and external practicals are conducted. Exams are not very difficult to pass if you are prepared. Faculties help with important topics.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are very high. DSHM has its own 14 ventures where we can complete our training and internships. Other than these 14 ventures we can also try for other hotels and properties where DSHM will help and guide us to get it. These internships do give us good stipends as well as food and accommodation.
Placement Experience :
The college provides 100% Placement Assistance to any desired hotel or property. It has its own 14 ventures where it can place the graduates. All ventures are 5-star properties. We are allowed to go for training in the 3rd year either 5th or 6th semester. Throughout the course, DSHM makes us eligible to qualify for interviews. We have been taken to Showgrounds of various 5-star properties like Marriot, Hilton, The Chomu Palace, etc. Approximately 3-5 lakhs p.a packages are given to the students and students pursuing their career abroad get even more high packages. Almost 100 per cent of students get the placement depending on their abilities to qualify for interviews. My plans after getting the degree are to try abroad as we get more opportunities and simply say more money is in abroad. Hospitality is the vastest and fastest-growing industry.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Talking about the fee structure, it's fixed at 1,05,000 per year. Fees can be submitted in 4 instalments. There are a lot of opportunities in terms of jobs and financial assistance. For financial assistance, you get opportunities for earning. You can Lear and eat together at the same time. There are ODCs and Events that give you per-day stipends.
Campus Life :
Campus life is quite fun as we enjoy various educational trips and events throughout the year. Needful books and notes are available in the college library. In this hot summer, DSHM provides various amenities and facilities for the students like a Fully Air Conditioned campus, Departmental Training Areas. Many curricular activities are conducted that emphasise us to show the best version of ourselves, help in public speaking, and boost confidence and morale. Fun but educational social groups and clubs are made by students for students.
Admission :
My friend was referred by my friend. The admission process was very easy. Eligibility is at least you're 10th pass for the diploma course and 12th pass for a degree course. You can get forms from online portals and from colleges only No, the admission process is so smooth you just need good communication skills and confidence
