Course Curriculum Overview :

Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning were always fascinated and interesting to me. I believe there is a good scope for it in the future. Hence I chose it. I got EEE throughout KCET in the same college but didn't want to bet my career on that course. There are almost 1500 students and a good amount of teaching faculty around 100-150 altogether. Faculties are amazing and supportive. Most of the core subject teachers are awesome. Ample of time is given for term exams and it is very easy to pass. Like we used to get all the datasheets way before and hence could start preparations right away.

Internships Opportunities :

Well Not much aware of the internships but teachers are open to providing us with projects if we approach them. The project for me was like a website development to enhance our skills. Get some knowledge on how stuff work. Then we had this IDT course where in we had to interact empathize understand the problems of people and then ideate providing solutions. If our ideas were practically possible then we could implement and write the outcome.

Placement Experience :

The third semester is when students become eligible for campus placements. I am not aware of the companies visited and offers made. But recently what I heard was an IS student got a 60lpa from some company. The placement percentage was decent like 70 is what I heard. My plan is to get placed in a good company and get some experience.

Fees and Financial Aid :

I honestly don't know about the fee hike policy. The cost to Study depends on the category and the exam one has joined through Haven't applied for any scholarship yet. Plus no jobs available on campus I believe and therefore no stipend.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is UTSAV. This time it was from 26-28 May. Tech fest will happen soon as well I am not yet completely aware of it. The library is huge and they have got new publications as well. some of them have projectors some of them have smart boards. ACs are present as well but they are not used and personally, I never found the need of it. We would probably doze off if they turned them on LOL. Sports events be happening and even many other activities like IEEE events keep going on. We have WhatsApp groups and Instagram pages from where we get to know about all of the stuff.

Admission :

I took COMED-K and KCET. Cut-offs were like 900-1200, Application forms for COMED-K and KCET can be found on their official website. The admission process was simple. It depends on person to person like how convenient they find the UI of the respective sites and how much experience they have doing all this stuff.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.

The college placements are pretty good and provide an average of 6lpa for the students. There are lot of IT companies visit to oyr college but there are no opportunities for the courses other than IT related branches. Students become eligible after their 6th semester in the academics.
