Dislikes
- THE ATTITUDE OF SOME FACULTY ND CLERKS THEY HAVE TO BE LITTLE FRIENDLY
- THE PROCEDURE OF ADMISSIONS AND PROJECTS GETS COMPLICATED AT TIMES BUT STILL MANAGEABLE
- AT SOME INSTANCES THEY ACT TOO STRICT AND AT SOME INSTANCES THEY NEVER PROVIDE SOME IMPORTANT NOTES OF DIFFICULT SUBJECTS AND EXPECTS US TO STUDY IT ALL BY OURSELVES
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty are available for every subject and most of the time they get changed after every semester I still don't know why. They are pretty much qualified to teach us in their respective language but there are definitely some who needs a lot of work for eg. Faculty for psychology and economy subject, the teaching method is pretty friendly so is their nature. Exams are held usually after every 4 months to 5 months (sems) and if we talk about tests then every end of the month for any random subject and it is pretty doable to pass unless you're not prepared at all.
Internships Opportunities
As I said since I belong to a humanity background I can only talk about how we do get a lot of placements after graduation in companies like byju, infotech TCS, and others but campus placements or internships are only limited to college departments which I feel should be improved.
Fees and Financial Aid
Honestly, I don't know about their fee hike policy but at the same time, I have to admit for some continuous years they have been raising fee for every other technical subject and a pretty acceptable hike for humanity subjects. The cost to study is pretty affordable (one of my main reasons for opting for this college). Since I belong to the humanity domain I can only talk about my internship we get in campus internships mostly working in different departments of the college, they do updates about scholarships on college groups.
Campus Life
Annual fests like cultural extravaganza are held which are really amazing students get to showcase their different cultures through performances. Tech fest like innovation summit is held in the month of December mostly but only the science stream students get preferred. Mostly every kind of book is available in the library and u can also get some books to your home but you have to return them before the next Sunday. Sports days are held once a year and extracurricular activities are conducted by the hod of that respective department like camps, trips, trekking, picnic,s etc. We have a nss group which stands for national social service and the college student websites.
Admission
Eligibility for every course differs for very obvious reasons but as far as my course is concerned I opted for ba in economics actually I wanted to opt for honors but it wasn't available anyway, the eligibility for ba in economics in that college is you must have passed your 12th with arts or commerce as your background and no minimum percentage required. you can visit the college website and contact them by just searching their name along with the website on Google for eg Reena Mehta College website the application form is available online as well as offline from the premises the fees are around 300 or something and also before directly jumping to that college please do visit the university under which the college operates so that u get a good idea of it. (MUMBAI University website) dates are available on websites. Reservations are entitled to every reserved category and every detail is mentioned during the admission procedure itself along with that u also get a concession.
