ALL I CAN SAY ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE IS THAT I WASTED ALL THAT TIME OF 4 YEARS IN PARTICULAR. THE ONLY SATISFACTION IS MY BUDDIES AND HOD AND SENIOR FACULTIES. I PRACTICALLY INSIST TO EVERYONE NOT TO THINK OF B TECH AS A CAREER OR IF U DO SO DO NOT OPT FOR COLLEGE LIKE KIT, KANPUR.

Entrance Preview :

THE EXAM WAS UPSEE-2013 AND I WAS PRACTICALLY DUMB WITHOUT ANY KNOWLEDGE ABOUT COLLEGES SO I CHOSE KIT,KANPUR.THERE WAS NO INTERVIEW PROCESS. THE COURSE I DID AT KIT, KANPUR WAS A COMPROMISE FOR MY SITUATION OF BEING HELPLESS AND PARENTAL PRESSURE IS ALSO SOMETHING TO BLAME UPON.

Course Curriculum Overview :

THE COURSE WAS FILTHY. THERE IS NO SCOPE FOR PRACTICAL LEARNING IN THAT COLLEGE.EVEN HARDLY ANY LEARNING CAN SUSTAIN IN THAT FILTHY ENVIRONMENT. NO ANY RESEARCH INITIATIVES AT ALL. ELECTIVE OPTIONS WERE ACCORDING TO THE BASIC UPTU CURRICULUM

Internships Opportunities :

I HAD TO ARRANGE IT ALL BY MYSELF. COLLEGE DO NOT HAVE A PUBLIC NETWORK TO SUPPORT ANY INTERNSHIP PROCESS. AS I HAD ARRANGED IT ALL BY MYSELF SO NATURALLY EXPERIENCE WAS PRETTY GOOD. THE AVERAGE STIPEND OF WHOLE BATCH WAS 0 RS PER MONTH A.K.A UNPAID INTERNSHIPS.

Placement Experience :

WELL NO OF STARTUPS ALONG WITH TERRIBLE JOB OFFERINGS WITH MINIMAL SALARY PACKAGE MADE THINGS EVEN WORSE. ACCORDING TO STATISTICS, 490+ STUDENT GRABBED PLACEMENTS BUT IN REALITY ONLY 7-8 ARE STILL WORKING. TECH- MAHINDRA WAS THE MOST RENOWNED COMPANY T VISIT THE CAMPUS LAST YEAR. YET THERE IS NO SCOPE OF ANY OFFER LETTER FROM THEIR SIDE. OTHER COMPANIES LIKE JBM, AGS ETC. HIRED STUDENTS WITH A SALARY PACKAGE OF 13K-15K PER ANNUM . AVERAGE PACKAGE WAS CLOSE TO Rs.8000 PER ANNUM.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Rs. 94500 PER YEAR EXCLUDING HOSTEL FACILITIES. Rs. 55000 FOR HOSTEL FOR 1 YEAR SO ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT THIS COLLEGE IS PRACTICALLY INSANE WHEN IT COMES TO FEES STRUCTURE COMPARING TO THE LEVEL OF EDUCATION THEY PROVIDE.

Hostel Facilities :

HOSTEL FACILITIES WERE UP TO THE MARK ACCORDING TO ME. FOOD WAS OK BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY ROOMS WERE SPACIOUS AND WERE SURROUNDED BY NATURAL BEAUTY. FEES WAS NEARLY Rs.55000 PER YEAR BUT IT WAS WORTH PAYING.

Exam Structure :

ACTUALLY FOR EXAMS ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT THERE WAS A KIND OF CHILL ENVIRONMENT. AS THERE WAS PRACTICALLY NO SCOPE FOR STUDIES SO EXAMS WERE JUST MEANINGLESS AND EVERY SECOND STUDENT IS DEPENDENT ON GUIDES AND QUANTUM FOR UNIVERSITY EXAMS.

Faculty :

WELL FOR FACULTY MEMBERS ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT MOSTLY EXPERIENCED FACULTIES HAVE LEFT THAT CAMPUS AND THE ONLY REMAINING ARE THE HOD AND DIRECTOR. THE NEW FACULTIES HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE AT ALL ABOUT THE BASICS OF DOMAINS THEY ARE TEACHING. HOWEVER HODs ARE TOTALLY INTERACTIVE AND KNOWLEDGE.

The Campus life

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college is decent highest package was 30 lac per annum and average is 6-7 lac per annum....From 6th semester u are eligible for the campus placements.... companies that visited are- IBM, TCS,etc I just don't remember now there are many... percent of students getting placements are near about 80% i guess

Placement Experience:

The placement is very good in my college. From the 7th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Mahindra etc do visit my college. Best college for developing startup skills

Remarks:

The best part of this college is that it has an incubation centre which is governed by the DST government of India to promote new innovative ideas and mould the incubator to start there startup and became an entrepreneur.

Admission:

I always want to become a mechanical engineer because innovation and technology attracts me. This college focuses on innovation and entrepreneurship Development skill and this is the main reason to select this college. Entrance Preview:

I took entrance examination of UPTU and scored 4500 rank. I chose this college as I was getting Computer science branch in this college. Moreover many of my school time scenarios were in this college and gave fabulous feedback which at last proved to be true.
