CEG Anna University

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am interested in the designing of vehicles so I have chosen mechanical engineering. There are 1 faculty for 60 students. Faculties all are PhD scholars with more than 30 years of experience and they have researched in many projects. The semester exam happens every 6 months and in between, there will be two assessments. It was very easy to pass when we concentrate and love to study by applying.

Internships Opportunities :

More companies will come for internships. As a first-year student, I am not sure about the stipend provided by the companies. Most of the internship students will be placed in the same company for their successful internship.

Placement Experience :

There will be an internship after completing the 4th semester. Placements will be in the 6th semester. Many companies will be there for placements for mechanical like Caterpillar, L&T, IT companies, etc. Mostly all students will be placed in campus interviews.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee for me is 15000 per semester and the hostel fee is nearly 80000 per year. There will be more scholarships like alumni scholarships, post-matric scholarships, etc. Every student will be placed in campus interviews and some may move abroad for higher studies.

Campus Life :

College life is very enjoyable. There will be many events every month, and there will be two large fests i.e. Techofes for cultural and Gurushetra for brain battle. All books are available in the University library. Every Class are provided with projectors. There are many clubs in ceg for the welfare of students.

Hostel Facilities :

Every room is provided with four cots. There will be four study tables with two fans and lights...The room is well enough for four students. The mess food is quite good in a junior mess. You can get the hostel room during the admission. There will be both veg and non-veg food.

Admission :

One should pass the higher secondary with a good cut-off. You can join this college through TNEA counseling which is only by the cut-off. The cut-off is 100 marks in maths and 50 marks in both physics and chemistry. Counseling occurs once a year. There are more reservations like ex-servicemen, sports, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If u study for ur internal exams or mid some people call as if u get well prepared in that then it is easy to clear sem exams because if college is not an autonomous paper is not easy as expected so u have to study and understand the whole concept u will be having our staff support more.
