Pros and cons of DU

Dislikes

  • The minimum attendance rule of different colleges
  • Science students used to study more and socialize less

Course Curriculum Overview :

The faculty members were very knowledgeable and were post-graduates in their area of expertise, we were also arranged with extra classes if required by students and teachers were always ready to help us. The exams happen once in every 6 months and level was moderate

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees for our course were very minimal if we compare it with other universities, we were provided with labs and equipment, also financial aid and scholarships were provided to students in need of that

Campus Life :

There were various clubs and societies like dance, fashion, singing, drama club, literature club, social club. Events were organised like Diwali Mela, fests departmental as well as college that provided us with a great opportunity to socialize and showcase our talents, teams and students from different colleges used to join us in that and we would get an opportunity to interact with them and build network, celebrities and well known personalities used to vidit us during those events. Also during classes we would get enough time to interact with our colleagues however we would get very less opportunities to interact with students from different departments because of different timings. We were also made to make lab groups with different persons each time that helped us interact with more people and get to know them. During events like teacher's day we used to perform as a class and that helped us interact and know everyone and bond on based on our hobbies and interests we had in common.

Admission :

Eligibility was 10+2 The admission process was very smooth with the faculty teachers sitting and guiding us on how to go about the form and what subjects we can opt for apart from the one we are doing our graduation in the college

Placement Experience:

Placements here are just awesome as they offer an average package of about 7-10 lpa but here most of the roles are slightly bent over the analyst role which means that more analyst roles are offered than others.

Placement Experience:

The placement are quite okay but college do prepare us for real world. Collgee do organise various events and seminars where renowned speakers come and share their stories and tell about how to implement things in real world. There is aslo annual placement drive happening in the college where students get their placements

Remarks:

Although college is not big in terms of infrastructure and has limited classrooms but all the facilities are available like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library etc. And they all are very good despite of government college all these facilities are in good working conditions.
