Discipline, Teaching process is excellent in IEM.

Dislikes

The management of IEM is slower in case of notify any update to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have chosen MBA to enhance my skill and knowledge in the management field and to grow in the corporate. 1:15 is the faculty-student ratio. Most of the faculties are Ph.D. holders. Notes are shared in the form of a PPT. Two mid-semester exams were there each semester. It's not that difficult to pass the exam if you attended classes regularly.

Class Size : 300Course Fees : INR 320000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are offered by ITC, PWC, and Dabur and paid internships are also offered by many companies. I did an internship at IEM America Corporation. I was there as a digital marketing intern. And it was my paid internship.

Placement Experience :

From the 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. EY, PWC, TCS, ICICI, Bandhan Bank, Indigo, Usha Martin, Asian paints, Berger, Bluedart, Collegedunia, Flipkart, and many more came for the campus placement. The highest package was 9LPA . The average package is 4.5LPA - 5LPA. 80% of Students got placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total course fee is 640000/-. For each semester you have to pay 160000/-. If you are IEM/UEM alumni you can opt for an alumni scholarship. Education loans are also available. I have been placed in CollegeDunia with a salary of 5LPA.

Campus Life :

There will be one tech fest and one cultural fest in a year. 24*7 Library facility is available. All of the books from the course are available in the college library. The air-conditioned classroom and teaching process will be done through a projector. The basketball court is there in the college campus. There are many clubs in the college like the CSR club, and the Rotary club.

Admission :

The eligibility is 50% in UG & Entrance exam - CAT/MAT/JEEMAT. The application is available on the IEM KOLKATA website. Not opting for the reservation benefit. Though there is no improvement needed in the admission process but the admission process can be a little faster.

Interview Experience :

Very basics and recent topics were there in GD & the interview questions were from my graduation course to check my basic understanding of the course. The eligibility criteria are 50% in UG. Other than that you have to give one of the entrance examinations from CAT/MAT/JEEMAT.

Home away from Home, or is it?!

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from the second last semester. Big 4's have blacklisted Adamas because the students they recruited in the past left the company without serving notice period. Most of the companies visiting, are start-ups. Placement support as I already mentioned earlier, is negligible especially for HR. Highest package in MBA sales was 11 lakhs, incentive included. Since, I didn't get satisfactory offers, I am trying to find an opportunity on my own.
