Remarks :

The good thing about my college is that it organised a lot of cultural activities so students gets ample opportunities to find their hidden talents but however they pay very little or i would say no attention to the placement

Entrance Preview :

Apeejay college don't have an entrance exam . you get admission on basis of marks attained in +2 . min percentage required here is 55% . I took a commerce course as i like business and accounting.

Course Curriculum Overview :

course was average. no focus on practical knowledge . It is more theoretical . No initiative in my course till now .

Internships Opportunities :

The only internship they provided recently was an audit internship at charted accountant firm. It was a very good experience

Placement Experience :

Apeejay college have a very minimal ratio of students who gets placed after b.com. The only company that visits campus is IBM . The average package is as low as 1-2 lac pa

College Events :

our campus organised many functions every year like tech fest , cultural meets and sport meets etc

Fee Structure And Facilities :

course for my fees is 54000 approx per year . This is affordable.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

yes the college provides scholarships to meritorious students

Faculty :

Most of the teachers have at least 6-7 years of teaching experience . They know their subjects very well . They are very much active in class . standard of teaching is average here

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think its my best opted advise to take admission in this university, in case of studies my basic concepts about my subjects is very clear even after 2-3 years, it is possible because of teachers hard work. If i had any doubt about any topic teachers personally consult us and clear the doubts which is very appreciateable. Practical subjects are very taught us very well same same as technical languages such as R language and technical subjects such as tally erp9. Exam consists 8 questions and 4 sections and from which 5 have to be performed each question consits 16 marks and 1 question can be attempted from any section sallybus sometimes is very vast and very difficult to cover and that makes exams difficult.

Things that everyone know before admission in university

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.com because I want to be specialist in the field of accounts. And another reason is the availability of jobs in the banking sector. In my course, there are 75 students. And the availability of staff is good according to the numbers of students. Teachers are well qualified and experienced. They teach by using projectors as well as through blackboard for providing a good experience. They conduct two Mid-semester exams and one End semester exam. It is difficult for the preparation of exams as they do not provide any holiday in Mid Semester exam and in 2nd Mid term exams they conduct 2 exams in a single day without holiday which it very difficult to prepare and get good marks. Even in end-semester exams they also do not provide holidays for every exam. This put a lot of pressure on students to cover the syllabus and for preparing for exams.
