Remarks :

Admission to the Btech course is mainly taken through two exams one is GUJCET and the other is JEE MAINS. The cutoff for CS Branch is higher as compared to other branches.CS cutoff 93%tike(jee mains) 4500(rank in Gujcet). The application form for jee mains is on their official website whereas Gujcet it has a particular council named ACPC which conducts the admission process just like Jossa counselling. There are some free seats for the sc/st category students. If your rank is high in Gujcet and jee mains you can avail of the scholarship and further, you have to maintain your CGPA over 8.5.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The main reason for taking ICT is this branch connects the fundamentals of ECE as well as CS. So this is the connecting branch between these two. All teachers are PhD qualified and the teaching method is also good. The exams are divided majorly into two parts mid-sems and end-sems. Mid-sems are 50 marks whereas end-sem is 100 marks and sometimes there are internal assessments also that take place.

Internships Opportunities :

SoT students are required to undergo 6 to 8 weeks of a summer internship in the 3rd year. In the 1st year, they are required to work with an NGO for 2 to 3 weeks. The objective is to integrate the knowledge with the industry.

Placement Experience :

From the 7th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visited the campus for campus placements some of them are Google amazon etc. The median package offered for ICT and CS students was 6.09 lacs whereas the highest package was grabbed by an ICT student was 25 lacs in AMAZON.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are affordable when it comes to what the college provides us. There are good placement opportunities for all the branches and the placement rates are also good. Students also have the scope of scholarships. Some of the scholarships are based on category whereas the others are based on high merit.

Campus Life :

The two most celebrated fests of pdeu include tessaract organised by sot whereas the flare organised by sls. The flare is conducted in the even semester whereas the tessaract is conducted in the odd semester. The library is good and you will find all the necessary books there. Classrooms are also fully air-conditioned and with smart boards. The college has many clubs that give you good exposure.

Hostel Facilities :

The accomodation is provided by UG (the official hostel of PDEU) which is for boys and is out of campus whereas for girls the hostel is placed inside the campus.The meal quality is decent.If you have to register for hostel you have to go to the official website of PDEU.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because the future is AI and it has better job opportunities in the future ..there will be 70 students in each class and 25 sections overall in cse. there will be a sufficient number of faculty in every class. there will be one mid-exam and one end-semester exam for each sem, they are really supporting.

Decent choice, especially for tech-based fields

Quite a few placement and internship opportunities are present.
