Course Curriculum Overview :

I was very interested in the machine field and I want to work with machines. There are a number of faculties for each subject. Most of the faculties have Ph.D. in their subjects and are well experienced. They have pleasant behavior and are willing to understand everyone. They provide both lectures as well as a question on each topic. They cover each topic up to date. Every six months semester exams are conducted and some of the papers are more difficult to pass. And college also provides class tests that will help for the semester exams.

Class Size : 27Course Fees : INR 12500 per year

Placement Experience :

After the 6th semester can be eligible for campus placements. The companies such as Popular Hyundai, Bharath Benz, and Infosys made a number of offers on each position. The minimum package was 120000 and the higher package was 17 to 18 LPA. Most of the students were placed even though they have backlogs. About 40% should be placed. Actually, I plan to study abroad after completing this degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I was selected as merit quota so I had 12500 as an annual fee and a hostel fee of about 54000. But for management quota have 25000 as an annual fee. And we also need to pay for the study materials and lab tools. The college provides scholarships for eligible students. The students who have above 90 percent on the 12th exams can study with scholarship fees. The campus provides a number of campus interviews. I got selected for Popular Hyundai as the sales executive with a stipend of 10000 as my beginning.

Campus Life :

They don't conduct the tech-fest and annual fest mostly during the May month. The college has a peaceful and satisfying library with most of the journals as well as study materials. We can afford the books free for a particular time period. The class room has a decent atmosphere and is well-maintained. Classrooms are provided with good lighting and ventilation. Fans are provided. The desk and benches are ergonomically made. The screen projector is available. They conduct Sports and arts during April and May months. And also conduct extra curriculum activities such as debates, quizzes competitions, essay writing, poster making, etc. They have an NSS unit and an anti-narcotics squad.

Admission :

Actually, I was on the entrance merit list. But I got admission through spot admission as management quota. This college provides direct admissions. Every year they provide spot admission in some districts in Kerala. Also can get assistance though mgmcet.ac. in.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
