Remarks :

Very good but need more diversity in on-campus placement like for development sector.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum includes lectures seminars (both attending and organising), team management, analytical, etc skills through their alternated day compulsory fieldwork with credits. Fieldwork in 4 sectors - rural, urban (ngo or govt. Agency), medical setting, industrial setting, which gives an idea of market scenario as well as lifeskills to enhance as a human and it helps in securing on-campus placement. Industrial visits, rural camp, study tour is organised annually.

Placement Experience :

Hindustan Unilever, GSFC, Adani, reliance, Aditya Birla, saint gobain, L&T, Vedanta, transpek solutions, Xylem, etc many such companies. Recruitment depends upon company policy but mostly first aptitude test is there to reach second process i.e. interview. Tentative percentage of placement is 60-70%. About internship for our course companies are suggested but student have to approach the company by self.

College Events :

Neev and Aditya as alumni meet, and many other seminars like national seminar, cultural fest is organised both at faculty and University level, participation is of 2000 student minimum. And for technical events technology faculty have many such fests.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

For my program it is 8000 per annun for girls and 10000per annum for boys. Additional fee for visits and study tours as per the expenditure of the plan but that too after admission. Before admission registration fees is to be paid with form. Yes transparency is there with clear backgrounds.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes it gives scholarship to all the castes including general category through DSW scholarship and many other programs for scholarship. Eligibility criteria depends on type of course. The very basic criteria is caste certificate and annual income should be less than 3 lakh. 40-60% of fess is provided as scholarship.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio is different for different faculties and my faculty have 2:1 for girls:boys. Many things like social work forum, political posts, etc. Are there with diversity of students including foreign students also but there is no such discrimination on basis of it. Diversity is there including caste, class, tribe, economic status, region, religion, etc.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes alumni network is strong due to the alumni meet and student records done by students, staff and teachers. They are helpful in terms of fieldwork, internship, as well as placement also.

Admission :

At first online form is to be filled up in may or June first week. After that an entrance exam for elimination in June mid or end in which subjects including maths, aptitude, psychology, etc. After that selected students will be called for group discussion and personal interview in July after that all the scores will decide admission for MSW. This course gives abundance of lifeskills through fieldwork and market strategies to survive to the dynamic market scenario. This institution have higher rate of placement and corporate tie-ups for both MSW and MHRM courses.

Faculty :

Around 30 lecturers are there which includes both professors and assistant professors. Average age would be 40 and qualification is mostly PhD completed or JRFs. The clarity of lectures delivered is specific to the lecturer and tools used by them like presentation, activity, games, etc. Also as intake is less individual guidance is provided by one to one supervisor and student relation which changes every semester. Yes lectures are highly certified.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is not a particular subject specific. It's interdisciplinary in nature. If anybody is interested in pursuing higher education, this is the course. For society and culture, there are not many exams. There are assignments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is at par, or I'd say even better than what most universities offer in India. It is equipped with very contemporary and up-to-date texts which are very relevant today. The teaching methods vary from individual teachers, but they all share the same enthusiasm and intellectual strength to guide students. Assessment is divided into End-sems (50 marks), Mid-terms (25 marks), Term Paper (15 marks) and an assignment (10 marks). The teachers prepare the students to be critically ready for any sort of questions. They also employ technological aids for their pedagogy. The only improvement I can suggest is that the department needs to organise field trips or funded excursions to academically relevant areas.

Placement Experience:

Placements do come and most likely to take master students, but also if bachelor's want to opt placement they can be it on or off campus. There's are good CTC provided and for a fresher it can be good start in the professional world. The highest package can go to 8 or 9 LPA to average 5LPA. Almost 90% to 95% students get placed. I would also like to sit for placements in coming year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to pursue a master's degree in economics from a deemed university the faculty is extremely friendly, we can reach them in their cabin to talk on various topics relating to research doubts, and future plans and also discuss off-topic talks, along with being helpful our teachers also used to guide us in the steps to be taken in terms of exams competitive etc In total we had 5 t extremely qualified teachers, the department of Economics is known very well for its unity and non-political environment in the classroom the teachers are Phd holders while some are double Phd holders from imminent universities including from abroad as well and have teaching experience for at least 5-6 yrs or so one of our oldest teachers has 20 yrs + of experience in teaching We were provided with presentations, online book materials etc and notes on each topic we used to read and review and discuss and about them with our teachers in the classroom such that we could understand the topic completely

Course Curriculum Overview:

My interest had always been inclined more towards understanding in depth about 'what is history'. In my bachelor's training, I was quite interested in history lectures and hence took up the research thesis to explore further. This all gave me clarity on what I really would like to pursue further. The class strength is 12. We have our tutor as well as teaching associate with whom group discussions, as well as individual discussions, happen on at regular basis. 1:12 All the faculties allocated have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with master's qualification. End-semester reviews at cept are quite unique as there are no written exams. It is mostly graded on the level of our understanding, how in-depth we have got into research and our final outcome.
