Remarks :

Forget about past, what i have heard now a days from social site that it become a deemed university and they have also very large campus.Good opportunity for students who are joining now a days.

Entrance Preview :

I appeared in All India MP Pre Examination Test(AIMPET). Please note that time in 2001 all exam In MP was conducted by AIMPET. I scored near about 461. To be very frank i dont have any idea about the engineering college in MP but when i went to counselling i saw prospectus of this college( ITM Gwalior) and found it interesting as they have written on their prospectus "An collaboration with IIT Kharagpur, So i chose this college".

Course Curriculum Overview :

Regarding the course structure, there is nothing to do with college as everything was decided by University.

Internships Opportunities :

There are hardly 3-4 companies visited ITM in 2007, all are local companies so no need to mention their name. I have never appeared for that local companies because my dream was high.

College Events :

There was no function from college side expect Fresher Party even for that we need to create pressure on management.

Campus Life :

You forced to remember bad days of my college life ;P, Gender ratio in my branch (EC) was 95:5, and overall would be near about 85:15. There was no extracurricular activities. Lab was so so.

Hostel Facilities :

At that time they have taken a private hostel all most 15 km away from the college that was managed by someone else not from college side, so everything was in controlled by that person only.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Not in touch with any senior as there was no such environment in my college.

Faculty :

Faculty was not upto the mark, At that time any body who has done engineering can teach engineering student, like now there was no rule master degree or something else required to teach any one so all most 70-80% faculty was from the same college who had

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in our college as the highest package grabbed by our senior was 1.15 cr this year through Amazon eu. The percentage of students getting placement are around 80%. My plans are to grab campus placement.

from 5 semesters students become eligible for campus placements. companies like TCS and Infosys etc visited to campus. when we talk about the highest package it is app. 12lakh per annum and the average package is app. 3 lakh per annum. percentage of students above 50 or depending on company criteria.

Sum up all learned things to the astonishing work

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite good in Jabalpur Engineering College. Students are eligible and can avail campus placement from their 7th semester onwards. There are some companies i would like to mention , TCS, Reliance Jio, IBM, Wipro, Collabera, TrueChip, Cognizant and some others. Some of them came for mass selection of students with good knowledge of their companies. The highest salary package of companies co.e in JEC are 7-8 LPA. The average salary packages are provided by companies is 3-5 LPA. Chances of getting selected in the campus placement are depends upon the students Strong hold on the subject and their course. So basically the chances of getting selected is around 30-40% . Students usually tend to have many dram after getting selected in campus placement. As per my plan, after getting a degree i will prone to learn new technology and present myself a position where i can give my all conceptual knowledge earned from College period and convert into practical knowledge.

My college

Remarks:

If college will improvise the college placement ratio than that would be very helpful for all the students studying there.

Admission:

I have 60% above percentage in my 12th class so I was eligible to get admission in that college. The college is closer to my home also that's why I opted for that college. They took photocopy of all valid documents and first instalment of fee. they have there own bus facility and hostel as well which is suitable to all.
