Course Curriculum Overview :

Exams are conducted on time sometimes before time. The difficulty level of questions is medium. You can easily pass the exam if you put in a little bit of effort. Exams are conducted by the Jharkhand University of Technology.

Class Size : 150Course Fees : INR 17472 per year

Placement Experience :

Many companies visited the campus as the college is new few companies visited like a little lamp, kp reliable, etc. But the students of our college have bagged offers from Tcs, Tata Digital, Infosys, Wipro, Wipro electronics, etc from off campus.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure depends upon the type of seat you have got in the counselling. There are basically 4 types of seats you can get through your counselling Free seat, tfw seat, Paid seat and Through management quota. The fee for the free seat is about 25172 for 1st year and 20172 for 2nd year. There is also free seat for St and Sc students ie. 19000 for 1st year and 14000 for the next years. The fee for the tfw seat is 17472 for 1st year and 12472 for 2nd year. The fee structure of the paid seats and management quota is the same ie. 34000 per semester. You can also avail Ekalyan Scholarship depending upon your category.

Campus Life :

This college also has a Club which is run by Students of Dumka engineering college called The Emerging Club Cultural and Technical events which are organised by the college are managed by this club.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes Dumka engineering college provides Hostel as well as Mess facility at a very good rate . There are only two hostels in DEC campus one for girls and another for boys. The charges of hostel are 20000 for first year and 15000 from 2nd year. Students get 24/7 electricity and water supply in the hostel students also get free wifi.

If you are searching for an engineering college which provides a BTech degree at a cheap cost then Dumka Engineering College could be your option. It provides a BTech degree in 5 fields ie. Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering. It is a college of PPP mode which is founded by Govt of Jharkhand and run by Techno India. Overall this college is good you can take admitted here.

Placement Experience:

The placements are declining day by day. In 2022 the average package was around 14lpa and highest was 56lpa but after that it has decreased significantly. Percentage of students have also declined . In ECE around 80% students get placed with an average package of 11lpa . Companies like Nvidia do visit the campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is good. Approx. every student is placed. The average placement is 6 lakh. The students are eligible from the 7th semester for placement. The company visited are Tata steel, Vedanta, JSW, Tata Power, Tata Long Products, Deloitte, Sclumbereg, Amazon, Samsung, CISCO, Akash, Fiitjee, Byjus, etc. many big companies. In every company there are 5 to 6 students are placed. The placement package of Tata steel is 10 lakh, amazon is 44 lakh, etc. The percentage of students getting placements is 85 %. I want to go for teaching in Akash or Byjus, etc.

NIT JAMSHEDPUR what you learn and what you experience

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from the 3rd semester, many students got PPO offers and almost all big companies visited and there were 2-3 offers on everyone and there is 100% placement and the highest package was 35 LPA by Microsoft and the lowest was 3-4 LPA by mass recruiters like tcs and Infosys. Everyone used to work after getting placed.

An average stundet of cs

Placement Experience:

After the completion of 3 rd years, students are eligible for placement. About 10 companies came when I was there and they don't have soo many offers. The highest package of 10 lakh waa given to our best student in computer science the average package was 5-6 lakh that's the average package of most colleges here it is the same. The placements of students were quite average about 70 % cause most of the students get diverted. I planned to go in some other field apart from engineering.
