Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because I have an interest in electronic-related things Most of the faculty here is having a Ph.D. degree they are all good in their field, some of them don't have any knowledge about the course but they are working as a professor, which is a back draw for the students, and some of them is very strict about the attendance and assignment. Most of the faculty is having a Ph.D. degree and they teach well they took smart classes if needed. We have three mid-semester exams and after that one end semester in a semester, like every month we have to give a mid-semester exam, the exams are not too difficult and not too easy it's moderate.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 250000 per year

Placement Experience :

For 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Microsoft, Wipro, Accenture, TCS, and some Japanese companies also visit to our college and many more. The average package of my branch is 4 to 5 LPA. 70 percent of the students got placed I want to become an entrepreneur.

Fees and Financial Aid :

College fees are increased by 25k rupees per year for a new student, For me, I am paying around 226000 per year but for a new student, they are 250000 per year for college fee only the hostel and mess is not included. I have got no scholarship or financial assistance and I haven't placed yet.

Campus Life :

Anadyanta is the annual fest in our college it is mostly conducted in the month of May or April. Almost all books are available in the library. Classrooms here are spacious, well-ventilated, and have smart classes. Our college has a cricket ground, a football ground, and a basketball court, the college is having almost all the sports teams and has won many competitions in each field, in inter and intra-college competitions. Nmit hacks, ecell nmit, GDSC nmit, team arion, team Horus, etc.

Admission :

I have applied for the COMEDK entrance exam, basically, it got me admission into Bangalore private colleges. You have to be a 12th pass to be eligible for the entrance exam. There are reservations for minorities on the Banglore and Hyderabad border.

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Experience at new horizon.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Experience through words

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.
