Remarks :

its a govt college..so we need good instruments..safe working places..good security .hygienic conditions for the patients..dustbins..and most importantly a proper canteen

Entrance Preview :

cee.. previously it was cee not its neet..i scored a good rank and got throughout the first counselling itself after class 12..

Course Curriculum Overview :

10/10 the course is fine to me.. mci should add one more subject to our mbbs course..thats kung fu.. because of the increasing no. of harassment in doctor the course is overall very difficult n lengthy..but worth the wait and struggle..when u finally become a doctor..

Internships Opportunities :

yes.21000 per month.some postings are hectic..like gynecologist and casualty..we have to work 18 to 20 hrs at a stretch..but some postings like psychiatry..ent .eye..you can have a lot of time for yourself n hit the gym..

College Events :

saraswati puja shiv ratri diwali bkd cricket tournament volleyball tournament football tournament college week in college week we have all kinds of events..literary..sports.cultural.. we don't have any outside artist performing in our college .. we have ralleys n different health camps too

Fee Structure And Facilities :

admission 5000 around and by the end of 5.5 yrs we pay 30000 around its a govt. college so not expensive at all.. but the college and hospital in pathetic working conditions..fans n ac don't works..the bathrooms are smelly ..no proper doctors room n security

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

yes..all kinds of govt. scholarship like nec..sc ..obc The Directorate, since its inception, has been giving away scholarships to needy and meritorious undergraduate as well as postgraduate students every year. The following is a list of such provisions: 1) M.Phil Scholarship 2) Ph.D. Scholarship 3) Combine Merit Scholarships 4) National Merit Scholarships

Hostel Facilities :

food 6/10 hostel 9/10 To almost all freshers, mess food tastes great for starting 2 months. However this will be your greatest foe for rest of your 4yrs. Believe me....you will starve for hat home made meal that you want to run away from now. but i don't complain because its far better than many

Alumni/Alumna :

they are perfect..there is no ragging now pretty helpful. i own my medical life to my roommate she is one year senior..pretty helpful with my exams..over all the postgraduates helps the undergraduates by taking many classes from first year itself..unlike other colleges

Admission :

cee ...in assam.. now we have only one exam for medical all over India which is neet..we only had Assam ranks for cee..n there is counselling according to the ranks there are 6 medical colleges now.. amc gmc smc tmc faamc

Faculty :

7/10 some are really good.. but some just focus on reading the slides n we basically doze of in boredom.. the are audio visual classes in the lecture hall..there are practical classes in first year..anatomy dissection.. laboratory work in biochemistry physiology..n from 2nd year..we have to go the wards n deal with the real patients .take history n examine them

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose MBBs because it's a noble profession. A human being must serve people and society and it can be best done by being a doctor. That's why I chose MBBS. All faculties are NEET: PG qualified. Faculties are great experienced but few of them fail to deliver their knowledge fully but that's only a few. The faculty ratio is 1:20. The teaching method is mainly practical. Clinical exposure is given from 1st year itself. And for the theory part, there are smart classes available. The frequency of exams is high. More than twice a month you have to appear for an exam, may it be a semester or internal assessment or part completion test. Exams are not MCQ-based and the difficulty is moderate. A punctual study from starting makes it easy to pass any exam.
