Remarks :

Eligibility for appearing in the entrance examination is HS pass with 50% in physics, chemistry and biology. NTA official website serves as the source of application form for the entrance examination. There are reservations for SC, ST, OBC, EWS etc. I want to reduce the number of reserved seats. There are 19 lac students who appear for NEET and amongst them only 30-40 gets selection.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is very good and faculties are very much helpful. I have chosen this course to serve the nation. There are at least 1 faculty is there for every 30 students. Exams are having a fixed schedule and they are usually conducted in that specific schedule only. Every faculty are MBBS+MS/MD. Every year in March our final exam used to conduct.

Internships Opportunities :

After completion of 5 year course of MBBS, the respective college provides a year of internship for their respective students. Students get a huge opportunity to learn a lot about the medical practice and gets a paramount chance to apply their theoretical knowledge into practice. After completion of rural, we are provided with 1 year of compulsory rural posting.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are many scholarship opportunities available for a mbbs students. Starting from NSP, MLA scholarships and many more. Students need to apply for all those scholarships through online mode. And they need to submit the necessary documents along with the fee receipt of the concerned course. I get MET scholarships, in which I get a cheque quarterly for an amount of 3000/month.

Campus Life :

Every year our college conducts a week for sports called sports week and along with it, extracurricular activities like singing dancing and drawing competition are also conducted. And at the end, the medifest called as syncysis is been conducted. Students have a students union, which raises the problem that student faces. Moreover junior doctors association, JDA is also there.

Hostel Facilities :

There are 8 Hostels in our college including our hostel. And each hostel consists of atleast 150 students and 180 on average. Hostels provides us a lot of opportunities and a lot of scope and energy for our course. Near us, there are having a few PGs only but the price or rent of those PGs are very high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a central institute so it follows the curriculum of MBBS accordingly. It is an autonomous institution so plans things accordingly. There are postings in hospital in each and every clinical and para clinical subjects so it gives a very good approach for patient interaction. Also there is internship for one year so it'll be very helpful for real life experience. As there are tutorials which are taken in a theoretical way...I'll say to make it more practical approach like dividing in group and bed side teaching. Exams are taken as and when needed which is good in a way to prepare for the finals but the syllabus should be divided appropriately.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The relevance of MBBS in the lives of human beings is inevitable. From the smallest of the illness to the dreadest ones, MBBS can help a particular physician to handle things properly as long as he is well experienced. That's the first thing that came to my mind while opting fo the course . Being a 4 year course+ internship, MBBS isn't a easy course but its application in the real world is beyond explainable. Throughout the year, 3 internal examination are arranged and at the end of the year the final professional exams are held. I personally feel that in today's world where universities are opting for semester wise exams this yearly exams create a bit havoc for the students taking a toll on their health

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is not CBME based education after the introduction of new NMC guidelines. This made the learning more practical based in order to deal with patients. This allows us to face the real life situations with the patients and it's further diagnosis of any diseases.Exams take place thrice every year while the year end exam is considered the main exam for passing a particular year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Relevance of MBBS would be 10/10, comprehensiveness to would be the same! Lending a helping hand to the needy is one thing that influenced me to take up this course. I also wanted to see my hometown prosper in terms of health. The current curriculum is great to prepare you for the practical world, although it is a bit hectic and more demanding, but everything comes at a cost. Maybe if they reduced the classes a bit, the students could get more time to study by themselves, it is helpful and required too. There is so much syllabus to cover before every exams it gets difficult for a student to cover everything up. Frequency for exams is like once I'm every 2-3 months. Gets difficult with each passing exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical science is one of the most interesting subjects for me to learn and that made me choose the course. As medical science is a very vast field and every day something new comes up so we have to be very updated about this field. It's not only a subject of science but also a subject of art. We have to deal with patients and their attendants so communication plays a very big role here. We are taught about ethics, behaviour and rights also in the course so that we can face the real world better. Improvements can be made in the practicals like bringing more equipment, specimens and instruments and there should be visual tests from time to time. Internal exams occur every 3 months and then final exams for every batch. I think the exam pattern is somewhat old-fashioned and some standard questions need to be introduced slowly.
