Course Curriculum Overview :
teaching is totally industry based our college follow syllabus of IIT KGP but we have some research opportunities like in robotics ,geobotics ,nanotechnology and incubation center this year center for excellence is innograted by shri raghubar das for for skill development
Internships Opportunities :
our college provide internship in bokaro steel plant and tata steel in 4th semester for mechanical engineering student TCS provide internship to Computer science and information technology students
Placement Experience :
placement opportunities are quite good as compared to other private college our college has average package of 3 to 4 lpa and 50% of students are placed by direct interview and many of them are persu for gate and IES preparation tata steel 10.35lpa Directi 14lpa TCS 3.5 lpa tech mahindra 5 lpa L&T 4-5lpa
College Events :
foyc-fresher of the year competition, is a competition among the 1st year students to be an icon of the college. There are also inter branch competitions in this event. It's conducted by Leo club of BIT Sindri sandhaan- it's the annual technical fest of the college conducted by model club of bit sindri. Many ingesting events including robotics and it's related competitions are conducted
Fee Structure And Facilities :
our college has secured 1 rank in affordability in India in 2016 fees are feasible hostel mess charge is only three thousand per month lodging charge is sevent thousand per year including electricity bill every semester we have to fill up exam form which charges 2850 rupees
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
we have state bank of India in campus for loan and procedure is quite simple we also receive scholarship from Foundation for excellence and government provide financial assistance by e- kalyan some of the student also get from MOMA
Campus Life :
campus life is OK as bit is a pure engg college so you don't find so much crowd in the campus workshops are regularly organized in campus I think girls is to boys ratio is 10:1 our college regularly get funds from state government in year chief minister visited our college and announce a fund of 805 crore
Hostel Facilities :
I will rate 4 out of 5 because hostel are good and hitech hostel management is also strict but if a student want to stay outside college campus then it may result expensive and difficult because single room outside the campus cost 2000 per month after that you have to pay for food and further maintenance charges
Alumni/Alumna :
I think we have the most powerful alumni network as compared to any college of India since our college is 68years old
Exam Structure :
exams are conducted regularly The level odd questions in the semester exams conducted by university is also good. No marks, whether viva or written marks come for easy.xam is conducted regularly and strictly it may be written test or viva labs are conducted weekly we have class of three hour daily and three hour practical practicals are done with precision and it has got to be hectic
Admission :
administration is strict but at the same time flexible for some cases admission procedure was simple and step by step step 1 we have to fill up online application form step 2 appear in exam secure as good rank as possible step 3 attend counselling where seats are allotted step 4 councellers will provide date on which you have to visit allotted campu
Faculty :
faculty are quite good and some of them are excellent most of them hold doctorate degree from top IITs some of them come through Jharkhand service public commission and now a days direct interview is also conducted in top IITs to fulfill faculty crisis
