Bengal Institute of business studies

  • The campus is not that huge, and also does not has its own grounds

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had MBA in Marketing specialization and we had two HODs, respectively for handling numerous sections simultaneously, teachers were beneficial. The syllabus was always discussed beforehand so that we had not had to face any issues.

Internships Opportunities :

The internship was a major thing in our course so it was given importance, we had several GD, and PIs for which we had to visit the college itself, and various companies visited our college for campus.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The entire fee is 6 Lakhs 20 thousand, at first, students' confirmation of admission is done by making the payment of 20 thousand first step, our college offers no such scholarship, but some preferences are given based on caste-like OBC, SC/ST.

Campus Life :

Alongside our program, we took part in various events, like freshers' day, the college's festival, and sports day. We also have a library where we can be in our free time and spend our time productively.

Admission :

I had to go through the personal interview round and I was selected on basis of that and my graduation percentage. The entire process is offline, so the interested candidate needs to visit the campus for the entailed process.

Interview Experience :

I only had a personal interview session and my graduation percentage was considered for final admission to my course. But for our SIP program gd and pi both were taken, SIP is a three month program where we got exposure of a proper market as I was in marketing.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from the second last semester. Big 4's have blacklisted Adamas because the students they recruited in the past left the company without serving notice period. Most of the companies visiting, are start-ups. Placement support as I already mentioned earlier, is negligible especially for HR. Highest package in MBA sales was 11 lakhs, incentive included. Since, I didn't get satisfactory offers, I am trying to find an opportunity on my own.
