Good experience.

Remarks :

The only remark I give is that the campus area should be more and enhanced in the terms of sports and other facilities and other aspects are just going well.

Entrance Preview :

I appeared for KCET exam (Organised by Karnataka education authority), I scored 30 in physics ,30 in chemistry and 29 in maths, I didn't opt this college exactly , it's the procedure of counseling process that we fill the priority list according to ranking of college and required of branch through online process.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course structure is quite fine and at the same time its(EEE) known to be the hardest branch in engineering but still faculties giving their best to reach the the requirements and may fails sometimes too. There is a problem like other colleges that if you wanna discontinue the college you have pay the fees of remaining year fees from the year your leaving the college.

Internships Opportunities :

College doesn't provide internship ,if does I would be aware about it because I prefer more number of internship for better resume and I keep applying for it.

Placement Experience :

Placement is most important aspect that everyone look into and yes! Sapthagiri has good quality and quantity placement for the students with good packages starting from minimum 2-2.5 to 5-6 and it even goes higher in exceptional cases .As always and usual placements never gurantee to you that job it's the beginning and you have performe well there to hold up your position there too( for private sectors).

College Events :

According to curricular activities it's a weak college , it doesn't have good sports facilities but last but not the least college fest is organized every year which is fine enough to entertain the stressed up students and it's name is sankalp. It's an average fest compared to the fest of other colleges .

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is constant for all the students it varies student to student a according to their way of entrance to the college that is entrance exam . Some people come by KCET or comed-k and reserves the government seat and pay 60k -70k and 1.5lkh 1.75 lkh respectively. As usual since this is a private college so it does have private seats too which actually costs more around 2.6lkh-3.0lkh for a single seats

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College doesn't provide such facilities but people under reservations or any other special quota are provided scholarship buy the Karnataka Examination Authority office which organises the KCET examination for whole Karnataka.

Campus Life :

Campus life is pretty fine ,it has good Green coverage that is actually good for passing their time during the free periods named as leasure plaza . Gender ratio of male and female is almost 50:50 respectively . The extra curricular activities are usually organized only during the fest which long upto 5 to 6 days of time period . Lab facilities are fine but it lacks at the facilities of sports.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is quite good keeping the accommodation in mind but with food you may really have to face a tough time. It has different room accommodation in large numbers. There are totally 3 hostels for this college 2 for boys and 1 for girls. Boys hostels are build little away from college site whereas the girls hostel is exactly in front of the college itself.

Alumni/Alumna :

Allumi is fine they keep coming frequently to take care about the new challenges that colleges and and authority face in the developing years of our country. Yes, seniors are helpful they are friendly and support you when required , campus has a friendly environment.

Exam Structure :

As the college is under visveshvarya technological University (VTU ) so it follows their guidelines. In BE system in this college there are 3 internals in which 2 are compulsory and there end semester examination for every semester and this procedure follows for further 7 semester.

Admission :

I got admitted by KCET examination and got the government seat in the college. The procedure is - 1.Filling the application form for examination. 2. Review the dates for examination and appear for it. 3. Go for documents verification in KEA office . 4. After results start your online counseling. 5.After various rounds in counseling select your college online. 6 After this go take a college visit and further admission.

Faculty :

Faculties are fine ,some of the faculties are hardworking but at the same time some are really not doing well and all the teachers are assessed once or twice by the students each semester by online feedback about the teachers and they may get keep changing if any one or more not doing well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do my engineering in well known college and in the branch of Computer science. So I joined this college... They have their own syllabus which come from the main branch (i.e, manipal). Course curriculum and teaching methods are up to a high level..

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

Remarks:

Well it was a emerging glorious institution, so I chose it. Also it has good facilities with good experience of atleast 10 years in the field of education. The infrastructure of my university is excellent. It has all the facilities needed for the overall development of a student. Although it us situated little of the city, it is totally worth the travel.
