Remarks :
It is more of a resort than a college, it needs improvement in many ways they still do not know.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Most of the subjects are outdated. The exams just help us test how good we can learn things by heart, the university doesn't provide proper marks, we do not get industry-specific knowledge. On campus placements is not available to all students too. No industrial visits were organised as it wasn't a part of the curriculum.
Placement Experience :
NTT data, Wipro, byjus, Saint gobin, etc are few of the companies that had come for recruitment in our college. For civil, we had barely 2 companies, both were Startups. They had introduction, 1st round of question and answers, 2nd round of group discussion, 3rd round of technical interview, 4th round of HR interview. 20% of students get placed. No, they did not take proper steps.
College Events :
1 fest takes place, that too it is not inter college fest. It includes both technical and cultural events in them, though not all the students take part in it actively, most of them do. The teachers are mostly against it. They do not want it to take place.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It ranges from 85 thousand to 1 lakh 50 thousand rupees per year. We have to pay by demand draft, real time gross settlement, national electronic funds transfer or unified payment interface. There is no proper breakdown of the fees when we receive a receipt.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No, I did not opt for any scholarship or education loan. I do not know the eligibility criteria for applying.
Campus Life :
Campus life is really bad, I have no exact clue about the gender ratio. We could barely have parties. We couldn't attend seminars and fest's because lecturers would not give us attendance as attendance is very strict. The toleration towards other orientation of sex is really bad. The college accepts only the binary genders.
Alumni/Alumna :
Most of the senior students I know we're good people. I have been in contact with a few And they are chill.
Admission :
For civil engineering as I had an interest in the subject and also seems easy, it had a nice campus and I also had a known relative in the campus, we have to complete our plus 2 examination and then either appear for CET exams or any other entrance exams.
Faculty :
We had 1 head of the department, 12 lecturers of which 3 female facilities and the rest were male. 3 lab attenders. All had completed their master degree. They had an average age of 40 years. They were never assigned as per their expertise which created a lot of problems to the students. No they had no relevant industry experience or certifications.
