Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is good and due to the NEP, the focus is on imparting great skill-related knowledge as well. The student-faculty ratio is a bit high as it's a government college but the professors are highly qualified and supportive. The exams took place in around 4 months and the difficulty level was medium.

Placement Experience :

From the fourth semester, students become eligible for campus placements, many companies like max and other counseling centers visit the campus or make an offer of internship and the average package is around 500000 and around 60% of students get placements. After getting the degree I wish to complete my post-graduation in Psychology.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is affordable and as per the economic feasibility of people of our country but Delhi University also provides scholarships to students who belong to a family earning a low income. They provide financial assistance to students so that they could study and complete their education at a low cost.

Campus Life :

The campus life is full of hustle and bustle, there are many clubs and societies for different areas including music, dance, sports, NCC, NSS, social service art theatre, etc. and many fests and events are conducted within a year. The library is full of a variety of books and Journals and the college serves the children with many amenities.

Admission :

Eligibility- must have passed 12th with a center or state-recognized board in any field(humanities /science/ commerce). Examination- CUET, Application fees are around 1500. I sat for the cuet after grade 12. The cut-off was extremely high but the syllabus covered the chapters which were taught till grade 12 only.

Delhi University has a better rank compared to this college which could have impacted my career

Placement Experience:

The Placement Cell of the college is very active. Students can avail themselves of the placement opportunities from the fifth semester. I have been selected as a content writer in the fifth semester. I was offered a 4.6 LPA in the esteemed company. More than 40 percent of students end up doing getting jobs. I have decided to earn some experience as a content writer and then apply for the MA journalism program.

Placement Experience:

For the courses like Architecture, Engineering, Law, Mass Communication, many big companies come for placements in Jamia. As my course is a Bachelors's subject under Arts, there aren't many placement opportunities. But I hope to pursue my Master in History after which I would try to get placed.

Placement Experience:

The placements for BA Program in particular are slightly lower as compared to other courses. Most students from the course opt for higher studies but the few who choose to sit for placements find it hard to land a job. Campus placements start in 5th semester and continue for the entire final year. A student is free to sit for as many companies as they like, as long as they meet the eligibility criteria like CGPA, course, etc. Most companies hire a maximum of 4 students owing to the small population of students at St. Stephen's. The highest package in 2021 was 18LPA and the average package is about 6 LPA-8 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Around 70% of the students get good campus placements, especially in the private sector. The average package for the students is 6,000,00 per annum. The highest package offered to the student varies between 25 lakhs to 35 lakhs. My plans are different as I want to pursue my higher education.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is good. It has tie ups with reputed news channels. But in our course, the college does not provide internships, students have do it themselves and they have to prepare their own youtube channel for work.

Remarks:

The management is an equally hardworking and efficient team like the faculties. They maintain a good relationship with the students as well as with the teachers and are approachable for both the parties. Their functioning has ensured that the college runs smoothly in terms of presenting itself to others.
