- amenities: theres a football court, indoor stadium, swimming pool
- faculty: there are very few but great teachers at IBS. they really focus on the overall wellbeing of students
Dislikes
- infrastructure: the layout of buildings at icfai is very poorly done. there are literally just two canteens for all BBA, LLB, MBA, BTECH students
- there are no classrooms or common area to sit during free hours.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course cause I want to start my own fashion firm, and I want to have handover management and administration. the curriculum covers almost every aspect of business administration. we have 7 to 8 courses each semester and 6 semesters in total. though the syllabus is lengthy, it is interesting. there are 4 exams for each semester, one of them usually an assignment. the exams are pretty easy to pass.
Internships Opportunities :
internships are usually done by individuals, the college claims to help in finding internships, but they don't help us much. the companies provided by colleges are also not that great. they're all start-ups, which are barely staffed and can not pay you any stipend. I searched for my internship through the Internshala website.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
fee structure: admission fee + semester 1- 1,25,000, semester 2- 1,15,000, semester 3- 1,15,000 till sem 6, they say there is a scholarship for people who score above 75% but that's a scam, you don't receive any scholarship.
Campus Life :
as I am part of the largest club on campus, the college is pretty fun. there are fests and workshops conducted by the college and clubs every now and then. participation is not that great. overall life at college is pretty fun.
Admission :
I have come across IBS through one of my friends, and IBS has a very easy application process. I contacted one of the administrators and he asked me to fill out the admission form which anyone can find on the ifcai website. then I had to pay 600 INR as admission fees. the second process was a panel interview with the management where there were basic questions asked. when it comes to eligibility for BBA anyone from any course can apply as long as they're 13 graduates. all over, the admission process is pretty simple and straightforward.
