Course Curriculum Overview :

MBA in Business Analytics is an ideal choice for professionals who want to develop business intelligence and analytics skills. This program provides a comprehensive understanding of the methods and techniques used in analyzing data, developing strategies, and making decisions. Symbiosis Institute of Business Management.Banglore(SIBM-B) has a student-faculty ratio of 15:1. The faculty members of SIBM, Banglore have diverse academic backgrounds and qualifications. most of the faculty members have a Ph.D. in their respective fields. Many of the faculty members have extensive experience in the industry and have been part of the corporate world. The faculty members also come with excellent research skills. The faculty members also actively engage in research activities and publish papers in leading journals. The term exams happen after every 6 months and it is totally based on the syllabus which is covered during the term.

Internships Opportunities :

Companies from various Domains such as IT, Finance, BFSI, Entertainment, FMCG, etc visit SIBM,B campus to provide Internship opportunities to our first-year MBA students with an average stipend range of 40000-1,20000. Companies in internships provide many tasks related to the respective field of the students.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for campus placements right after completing 3rd Semester, here are various companies visited on campus in the figure it is 100+ and all the batches got a placement with a good amount of package. The highest package is around 38L and the average package is around 13L per Annum with great profiles like Credit Risk, Business Intelligence, Data Analyst, Marketing Consultant, and many more. SIBM B has been consistently making 100% placements every year. my plan after getting MBA(BA) Degree from SIBM, B is to get placed in a well-reputed company as a business analyst role and put my valuable output in terms of the company's benefit.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total fee for MBA in SIBM, B is 11 lakhs per year in which there are various facilities included like mess fees(86000), hostel deposit(15000), hostel fees(1,35,000), and institute deposit(20,000). Hostel and mess fees can be increased up to 10% each year. Government taxes would be added as and when applicable. There are various Scholarships provided to the students like SIU Sports Scholarship, Merit Scholarship for Semester topper, and many more. About the job facilities there are many popular companies come to our campus which is from every field (marketing, finance, HR, Operations, and Business Analytics ) here are some names of companies that came to our campus like JP Morgan, Bain and Co, Morgan Stanley, ITC, Bigbasket, Capgemini, Thousantric, RBI, and many more. The average pakage these companies provide is from 12-20 L and minimum is 10L and makimum is around 38L.

Campus Life :

There are various fests conducted in our college right from sports to culture and management. like a few of them are Utopia in the month of July, Sammaagam in the month of October, and Revelation in the month of Jan. The college library consists of books, journals, magazines, and newspapers related to every field which is beneficial from a Business perspective. There are useful Amenities like a projector, Whiteboard, and modern furnished classrooms. there are various sports facilities provided on our campus like there is a basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court, TT, Carrom, and Fooseball Facilities also there is well Established Gymnasium for both Boys and Girls, with a Dancing and Music Room. There is also Cultural Clubs like a Singing club, Dance Club, Drama Club, and Sports club for Extra-Curricular.

Admission :

The selection process for SIBM, B includes SNAP(Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) followed by Group Excercise, Written Ability Test, and Personal Interview. The cutoff for SIBM, B is based on the performance in SNAP. The cutoff for the year 2022 was the 91 percentile. The eligibility criteria are as follows: A bachelor's degree from any statutory university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates). Candidates appearing for their final year examination can also apply. A valid score on the SNAP Test. The application form, fees, and dates for SIBM, B can be found on the official website of Symbiosis International (Deemed University). There should be more emphasis on the awareness of SIBM, B among the students. The Admission process should focus on the quality of the students rather than the marks they have obtained in the entrance exam.

The final merit cutoff at SIBM Pune is about 98-99+ percentile, and the GD and PI cutoff is dependent on the performance of all the applicants. Because of my lower GD and PI score and final merit, i was unable to pass.

Placement Experience:

Just after the 2nd semester the placements start. Companies like Deloitte,PWC,EY,KPMG,Broadride,Storeking,trivago,My Captain,Indusland Bank, HDFC bank,Factset, Genpact,Cadbury,Manipal Hospitals and many more companies come for placement. The highest package in my opinion may be around 8.4 lpa and average would be around 5 lpa. The profile offered were mostly Finance analyst, Tax Consultant and marketing. Idk the exact percentage but mostly everyone gets a placement. I would join Deloitte after I receive my offer letter.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum from the university is transferred by the teachers in a digestive manner with all relevant example , live scenarios, case study activities and much more. The exams on average come after 3 months of a semester commencing , the difficulty towards the exam itself is moderate.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are excellent in Indus Business Academy. Alot of good companies come to the college for the placement and almost all the student get placed in a good company. iIf the student has payed attention in the classes and the tasks assigned then getting into a company is not difficult. The students start getting placed soon after the completion of first year. Compainies like Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, Colgate, Bata , GT and other good companies come to the college every year for the placements every year. The average package offered by the companies is 6.5 CGPA and it may increase this year. The student placement is 100%. I have also been selected in Deloitte for tax profile.
