Course Curriculum Overview :
History as a subject, always fascinated me. The past events that shaped our present are valuable and give us a lot of lessons. So, it was the only subject I wanted to do. I had decided it in class 12th only. In our class there were 80 students. But as you can guess, on an average around 30-40 students were present in the class only. Most of the faculty members had done their doctorates. Teachers taught well, except one or two. The exams were held in time, even during the lockdowns. It was not really hard to pass. The hard task was to get good grades. In this regard, the teachers of our college made it harder to get good grades as they low scores in internals.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The fee was Rs10000/year. It wasn't a lot. However, the cost of living in Delhi was high. It costed around 12000 to 15000 to stay in Delhi. There were a few scholarships for the needy students. Those who could not afford the fees were exampted from it by the college.
Campus Life :
The college is buzzing with activities. The crowd of the college is decent. I won't say that it's great. It was olayish. There were many clubs in the college. Like the debating club, quiz club, painting, photography, theatre, dance, singing, etc. Students went to the clubs with their own interests. I was in the quiz club. There are a few study circles as well like the Gandhi Study circle, etc. The students interested in sports had a few options like foodball, cricket, volleyball, etc. The college shared the ground with Aryabhatta College. The college fest was good. In 2019, Akhil had come there. The college also organised the freshers and farewell party. Over all, life is happening and will pass by easily.
Admission :
In my 12th I had decided to take admission in Delhi University. When the forms came I applied for it. The form filling was online and the fee was around RS. 600. The admission process happened in the month of April. I wanted to take admission in History hons. In June, the cutoffs started coming. In the 2nd cutoff, I got Ram Lal Anand College. It was in South Campus. I went there to take admission. The whole process took around 1 hour. In the evening I got the payment link. The fee was RS 10000 / year. I paid the fee and the admission was final.
