Every year pgimer conducts an entrance exam for bsc 4 years nursing ..and within 20 days result out ... Eligibility - 12 th with phy che and bio , Forms available on pgimer website. Application fee -1500 for gen ...and less for reserved candidate.. Usually exams taken in July ...and it's computer based exam ...and syllabus is pcb and English, GK ... All information is related released in bulliten... Total 93 seats ...47 for UR and 25 obc 14 sc 7 st ... Councelling offline...and all admission certificate verification too....

Course Curriculum Overview :

This course is a professional courses... and PGI offers 100% job gaurantee within PGI after graduation ???? 4 years. ... and with a good salary.... Facilities and staff is too nice .. ,3 times term exams ...and 1 final exam..... which constitute 75 % of marks .... exam level is moderate....

Class Size : 93Course Fees : INR 525 per year

Internships Opportunities :

As no outer company visits the college for job .....it's our PGI itself provide us job within in PGI Chandigarh itself ....they train thier students and give them job in PGI hospital...with security....6 months internship 14 k rs.

Placement Experience :

After 4 years student get job within 3&4 month's...govt central job in given ..... with Job security..... Many students also go foreign after graduation ????..PGI Chandigarh offers direct job .. without any exam... .

Fees and Financial Aid :

Fees is almost negligible... and...all fees including hostel fees is very very less .... Clg also provides different co circular activities and opportunities..., competitions..and cash prizes to them ... Stipend monthly - 500 .. And in internship 14 k

Campus Life :

Campus Life is quite interesting..... campus is too good and every facilities available there. ...and surroundings .... It constitutes a big library...which contains thousands of books and also ebooks... Sports and games plays an important role in our college... As clg is very much active in co circular activities...and nss too...

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is Very nice ....as we all know... hostel life is quite different.and difficult...in starting days. . but our seniors are very cooperative and treat us like thier own siblings....and warden mam is too nice .... Hostel food is also okhay...in very cheap price ..1150... Security is very good here ...and clean positive environmental present..

Course Curriculum Overview:

In our curriculum they are giving us the practical knowledge more than theory Because in future our practical knowledge will be more, due to which I feel that I have chosen the right course. I have a suggestion for teaching menthods they can use books inspite of reading ppt on projectors and make the class more intractable and the frequency and timing of exam is pretty good.

Curriculum of this university influenced my decision to choose this course because BSc nursing is the best course for science students and the university is very nice for this stream. Our college is very good located in very prime location. We get student health facility when we are ill at Nehru Hospital.
