Remarks :
Hi! So our college was admitting students on a merit basis and I had 86 per cent in my 12th exams I got selected for Amar Singh college Srinagar. As it is govt. based college the campus is good but when it was time for submitting fee college administration announced to go bank for submitting fee and in the bank, we were in the queue for 2 consecutive days that was the worst experience ever in my life as it is the time of online transactions everything is working online. After that, we had our first sem exams in winter vacations when there is freezing cold everywhere so it's my experience in my college till now and I will hope for better
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose my course in Indian classical music and abiut the education system. Our faculty members are outstanding personally I know my music teacher she completed her music degree outside the country. about exams in the first sem, we completed the syllabus but we were expecting exams after the winter break but unfortunately, they conducted it in winter vacations during freezing cold
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee was affordable for my family almost 1 paid 5000 rs in the first sem. About scholarships, I don't have applied yet. As our college is govt based they did not offer any campus jobs. And im still studying there now I did not see any fee hike in future I wish there will be no hike in our fees and I wish we will get more and more scholarships.
Campus Life :
As in every college we see raging things but fortunately, in our college, this thing is far away. Everyone there is friendly but where is good there is bad also there are litte gangs who play cold war till now but I can't predict it how log it will go.there is a large library but we can only enter 2 days a week. Sports are good but the sports faculties behaviour is so rude that's why many students use to avoid sports. Our college has many social groups like NSS NCC they are working well and they used to go on camping mostly
