Remarks :
I took the UPTU exam and scored 8500+ (approx) rank in the general category and the exam fee was Rs.1500 I took the exam and qualified for the minimum rank necessary to get an IT branch in the KIET group of institutions. there were no other eligibility criteria other than this. but this exam is not happening and it is replaced with jee mains exam for counseling admission
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I know two people who are my seniors in this college and the IT branch and they suggest I opt for the IT course because the faculty is really good there are 70 students in each class and there are 3 sections in each year, the teacher is well qualified and they have good teaching skills and exams are conducted every 20-25 days
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunity given by college is not much productive and helpful and they are all unpaid.If you want paid internship you have to get them yourself cour college will not help you to get a paid internship and projects in this kind of internships are normal dsa classes and web development
Placement Experience :
From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements, companies visit in our college are TCS, cognizant, Accenture, ultra genic Amazon, etc highest package given by Amazon was 44 laks per annum last year but this year it dropped to 18 lakhs almost 99% student are getting placements in this college. after the degree, i will do a job
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The academic fees of this college are high i.e. Rs.1,20,799 each year and 8000 each year for exam fees, also they sometimes make stupid policies to make more money like they imposed a fine of 500 for late registration and +100 for each date and they send this message the day before the registration day and some students were very far away had to pay fine for no reason
Campus Life :
There was no fest conducted in the KIET group of institutions in the past 4-5 years they have a decent library that has all the necessary books. Our college does not conduct any sports and extracurricular activities and day-schollers are not even allowed to stay in college after 5 pm
