The college infrastructure is excellent. But it has not been improvised at times in the proportion of the increasing strength of the students and courses.The sanctioned capacity of the teaching staff has been vacant for a long time. Hostel capacity and in

Entrance Preview :

I went through JCECE (Jhakhand Combined Entrance Competitive examination) in the year 2009. I scored 68 marks out of 150.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is good and it is as per the standards of AICTE and as per the norms of UGC. The session and examinations are timely. But the teaching staffs are not up to mark. There is lack of professors. More than 60% of sanctioned number of professors/lecturers is vacant in the college courtesy to apathy of the state govt.

Internships Opportunities :

During my course period (2009-2013), only one company came for internship. It was Tata Steel. It conducted a written examination to select inerns. 2 students were selected from my stream for the inernship of about 2 months. Stipend offered was Rs 12,000 pm.

College Events :

There are 14 technical, cultural and sports club in the college. Every club organises one fest every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee is very much affordable. For Undergraduate courses, Tuition fee is Rs 14,000 per year and Hostel fee is Rs 3,000 per year. Our college ranks number 1 in terms of Return On Investment in India.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Loan facility is available from all the Banks. Every bank sanctions loan easily for the students of our college.Scholarship is provided by the Govt of Jharkhand for all the SC/ST and OBC (BPL) students which is distributed to them annually.The College provides Medals and Prize money for Overall Toppers(1st, 2nd and 3rd) of the college every year.

Hostel Facilities :

There are 25 hostels in the campus. Each hostel is accommodating more than its capacity. In 1st and 2nd year, 5 students share one room. In 3rd year and Final year, each student is allotted single room. Facilities in the hostel are minimal. No student of

Alumni/Alumna :

History of our college has been glorious.Many alumni are working in the best companies of India and across the globes. Some are chairmen in their companies too. Alumni are scattered the top level companies like NTPC, PGCIL, DVC, BHEL, GAIL, SAIL, ONGC, HAL, IOCL, HPCL, BPCL, General Electric, GMR etc. In fact we can find a BIT Alumnus in every top company of our country.

Exam Structure :

In each semester for each paper, exams are taken in 3 stages- Class Test for 10 marks, Mid-Semester Exam for 20 marks and End Semester Exam for 70 marks. Lab activities run throughout the semester parallel to the classes. Whole semester activity is well s

Good but not up to the level that college shows.

Placement Experience:

7th semester students become eligible for campus placements . There are many companies visited like accenture - 300000, cognizant- 250000, wipro- 300000, tcs- 200000 Accenture - 300000 per annum. 20 % of students getting placements in the class size of 120. My palns after getting a degree is to become a web developer, frontend.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year one can go for placements, they are eligible. Campus placements do happen. Infosys, tcs, wipro, and many more companies visit here and hire the most skilled engineers. The percentage is obviously really good. A minimum of 80% of the students get placed in good-paying jobs.
