Remarks :

The Alumni network was very structures during our college days. We do have our annual Alumni meet. which attracts lot of senior alumni. I had good luck that some of the senior Alumni supported me when I came to Bangalore in search of job. That was a great moral booster.

Entrance Exams: University Entrance for MBA, Scored: 86%. One of the prestigious MBA institutes in Chennai.i opted for this course as i wished to improve my management skills so joined MBA. As I was an engineering student I had technical knowledge and so to be a good leader I needed management skills hence MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum was good & up-to-date. Since we had some practising Managers who took some courses / classes- it was also a good thing, since they were stressing more on the practical aspects rather than purely the theoretical ones mentioned in the syllabus.

Placement Experience :

Being in a place like Chennai- far away from the Corporate world- this I must say they manage to give us a placement we have very good placements. Apparently, with a very active "Placement Cell" now, I understand that this has been rectified & lot of students do get placed before they complete their course.

Campus Life :

one of the Top MBA Colleges in Chennai providing management programs. It is an esteemed educational institution, renowned for its unparalleled education methodologie and faculty are very experienced which providing theory with practical knowledge.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are not as good as you expect from a B-School. The highest salary package offered to be 20 LPA, and most of us are to console with a salary package ranging from 6 to 7 LPA. However, almost 95% of the students got placed, but it was noticed that some of them got salary packages ranging from 4 to 5 LPA, and even some got lower than that.

Remarks:

The college helped me to achieve great success in this domain. Moreover, the academics parameter of the college was amazing and the non-academic arena was also impressive. I learned from both of them.

Perfect hangout with food, fun and frolic, our cafeteria boasts of a wonderful gastronomic tour. Offering oriental, Indian, continental menus, this cafeteria is one of the hot-spots in the campus. The details about the placement and job opportunities provided to the students are fully known to me and it was amazing.

I took CAT for my MBA admissions in Top B-Schools but unfortunately my score is not up to the standard required in LIBA (Loyola Business School). So my next choice is SRM , there in addition to CAT i was made to take SRMCAT which has same standard as CAT. After that i got score to get into SRM institute of Management.

Admission:

I got admission in SRM institute of management.Initially we have to get application form from admission dept. The admission process is of two phases in which on Phase 1- We have to pay the Fee mentioned (Full fees or partial) and we have to get the Fee receipt. Phase 2 will be just before the college opening and in that we have to give all certificates needed and it will be verified.

Remarks:

Very good education i could get ' Value for Money' then as we were all Ist gen professionals trying hard for a degree and a future. I would say what I learnt from the University in a rural setting was 'Values'. As the saying goes : 'Valuables' are valuable but 'Values' are invaluable.
