Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because I want to be an engineer. And this was my dream to get admission to JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY because it is a very reputable university and the curriculum of this University is very well maintained.

Class Size : 123Course Fees : INR 2450 per year

Internships Opportunities :

In this University many MNCs come and hire many numbers of students every year and they provide a very good amount of salary. And many internships are also provided if anyone wants to do them. And they get a good amount of stipend and also very knowledgeable work experience.

Placement Experience :

The placement seasons are started in the 3rd year 2nd semester. And many internship opportunities are also provided by the teachers and also from many reputed MNC companies. The placement ratio is very good. The average package of our department goes 9LPA - 22LPA core and non-core companies.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total cost of my course is very low compared to other engineering colleges and universities. And you can also avail the opportunity of many scholarships like SVMCM, NSP, OASIS etc. And there are many hostel facilities available at this University.

Campus Life :

There are many fests organised every year and they are really awesome. And also many cultural fests are organised by the students and the Authority. There are many groups in this University e.g - art club, music club, mountaineering club etc.

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
