overall good experience

Remarks :

everything is good about the management team but I will say it's not recommended for north indians, take admission at your own risk.

Entrance Preview :

No entrance exam!!! I got admission through management quota. I opt for this particular college as they had seats for my branch and they had good records on placement for chosen department.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It's pretty good. they have college hour from 8:30am-3:45 pm which creates a busy schedule for evry student in the Institute. starting from 1st yr until the final year you can find yourself engaged in some fruitful work or rotary club and so on. they have well-balanced their course curriculum and have provided enough personal space to the students in which they can be free to indulge in sports activities and others.

Internships Opportunities :

our college has a partnership with Guvi, which helps to provide internship to students. even I got a chance for an internship in bangalore and got offer letter too. IDEAPLUNGE, JUSPAY, IDEA2IT and many more companies have provided internship facility to our students.

Placement Experience :

in 2015 batch almost 85% students were well placed to in an MNC company(L&T) and in 2016 any of them were placed in AMAZON, INFOSYS, COGNIZANT, SUTHERLAND GLOBAL SERVICES, HEXAWARE, POLARIS and so on. Mostly were campus placed and few were university off campus placed, and by the end of the year almost 70% students were well placed and after finishing college they have received their respective offer letters.

College Events :

we had college day, graduation day, sports day and cultural. recently they have started organizing alumni meets and farewell party for final years. they celebrate dusshera as well as Diwali with staffs and hostel students.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is really feasible. they even have scholarship programs for merit students and some students can avail scholarship for being the first graduate.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

they have lot os scholarship schemes for merit students. 100% scholarship facility is also available, please check with the management. then scholarship for the minority group is also there to avail.

Campus Life :

campus life is good, they have a lot of clubs like Rotary club, English club, robotics club and so on.the college is strictly against ragging so no gender issues or problems with senior or juniors.

Hostel Facilities :

hostel food is superb and hostel facilities are moderate both for girls as well as boys. they have internet facilities, gym, tv hall and dining hall for both girls and boys.obviously, it's on sharing basis, in each room 3-4ppl are accommodated.

Alumni/Alumna :

senior students were really good and helpful. we have a very active alumni network, last time we attended our alumni meet @Ambika Empires( a 3star hotel).

Exam Structure :

exams and labs are always a chilled out for almost everyone. we used to have 8 semesters in 4year i.e, 2 sem per year with sufficient study leave to prepare for university exams.

Admission :

I just got in touch with the management team through one of my seniors, as I was not from Tamil Nadu I couldn't opt for counselling so, I went through the management process. they explained the fee structure for management students including hostel fee which my parents thought was nominal with the comparison to other colleges.

Faculty :

All the faculties were good enough to teach and communicate with the students. they were like friend, guide, and philosopher to us!! whatever problem a student had regarding academics can be shared with the staffs and they do listen to them personally and help them out to improve and help to develop even better. some of the staffs were like parents who used to care a lot and always used to scold us to focus on studies instead of chit chatting and wasting time in symposiums and all.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
