Remarks :

Eligibility of course is minimum 90%above inside union territory and outside UT above 93% in board 12th Application form, fee, and date will be displayed on the official website of DAV college. There is a delay in the allotment seat of the candidate.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Because I have a keen interest in knowing about trade and commerce and analyzing the financial statements of different organizations. This faculty deals with teaching various accountancy practices, entrepreneurship, and economics.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 25000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Companies like Mahindra, Delloite, and many big companies came. The job will be also outstanding after doing this course and then after a few years the increment is also high in this course and the overall scheme is good.

Placement Experience :

The student becomes eligible for the placement from the 5th semester. Companies like Mahindra. The average package is 4 lakh and the maximum package is 14 lakh. 15% of the total no. of students in the faculty. My plan after getting the degree is to gain an internship or get an degree of MBA

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The cost to study is 25000 per year. Scholarship and internship in Mahindra at a stipend of 5000 per month. The fee hike policy is not much in this college because it ranks in the second position all over UT as the best commerce faculty.

Campus Life :

Different fest organized on the campus such as carve fest, c days fest, cultural fest, and carnival. There is a huge collection of new session books for All the faculties in our college. Various social and cultural groups like Lassya, Aesthetic, and Rotary club.

Hostel Facilities :

There is a good sanitation facility and our college is full of greenery and airy classes. The overall meal of the college is good but the cost of these meals are a little High. The nearby pg or house is located in Sector 15 C.

Review on post graduate government college sector 11 chandigarh

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after the graduation wants to persue higher degrees as few companies come for the campus placement which are dominated by telecommunication like tech mahindra and few banking companies as well which provides very less package actually so very few students sit into the placement. The average package is around 240000 after the completion of the course.

A different world of expectations.

Placement Experience:

Not much placements was done through DAV there are very less percentage of students who are got placed it better level there are no major companies that visited the college the placements was done through PU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i have chosen is comparatively better then the other courses as in my course most of the subjects are based on practical learning and have real life applicability and other subjects are based on renowned theories which are also applied in daily life but it's very disgraceful that my college has not taken significant steps in improving the subjects and their applicability although the subjects are good and educated but still the subjects contain many of the theories and facts and figures which are not of any use except economic society no other educative group is formed by the college authorities for students elective options we have the choice between Punjabi and history culture of Punjab although these subjects provide lots of knowledge about the past and also Punjabi is emerging as known and respectful language but still have no use in the course I have chosen.
