Remarks :

You have to complete your graduation in any course with a recognized university. (at least 50 percentage). You have to clear the DUET exam to take admitted to the Faculty of law DU, but from next year onwards it's gonna be conducted through cucet pg. The application form is available on Du's respective website. There are reservations almost for more than 1k seats in Du. Yeah! NTA has to be transparent in conducting entrance exams because almost every year centers are purchased with money.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am interested to serve my life in the Judiciary field. There are more than 9k students in the entire faculty of law. Almost all the professors are Ph.D. holders in law, and their teaching method is good as they provide separate case material for reading. Exams are conducted twice a year i.e. semester basis, and it's not easy to pass the exam you have to get 45 marks out of 100.

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 10000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee for the entire course is just 30000, there are no fee hike policies in du as they rarely increase the fees. There are various scholarships, are provided by Du on their respective website. Jobs opportunity is based on skills, not each and every student got the job.

Campus Life :

There is no annual fest of the Faculty of law, although farewell, freshers, some festivals, and society fest are conducted once a year. All the books are available in the campus library as well as in the central library of DU. There are few sports activities in the Faculty of the law of Du as they majority focus on improving intellect. There are various groups that are run by students like - Abvp, Nsui, and Aisa.

The Truth About FACULTY OF LAW

Placement Experience:

Mostly third year students are eligible for placement. Some of the companies visited in year 2024 are kotak mahindra bank, craft legal outsourcing pvt. Ltd. Average package is 5 lakhs. Only 1-5 students are selected. I want to work in corporate law, I am currently searching for internship in this field.

Placement Experience:

Last semester students become eligible for placements but only those students who have some skills. Different multinational companies visit to recruit the students from the campus. They offer an average package of 3 to 15 lakh per year. Only 40 percent of the students get placed from the campus. Fimt is the only college that provides its students an opportunity to do a diploma from Kathmandu with their course.
