Remarks

Delhi University being the central university is very pocket friendly. The exposure provided here is outstanding and it has diversity from all around India. Gender diversity is also decent. DU is pronounced for its societies and extracurricular activities. Teachers are very humble and cooperative. It's the best university for Undergraduate courses in India.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is very cooperative and humble. I've chosen this course because it provides knowledge of all three subjects, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Most of the faculties are holding the degree of doctorate level.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 11000 per year

Internships Opportunities

We get the immense opportunity of doing an internship right from our 2nd year. Though I didn't opt for any internships but had witnessed many advertisements for internships related to the science field with great research centers.

Placement Experience

Placements are generally high in courses in Commerce and Management. Though every course has this placement criterion and every college has its placement cell. Though, I didn't opt for placements because I have some different plans.

Fees and Financial Aid

Delhi University being the central university is very pocket friendly and the fees of most of the courses are below 40000 per year. My fee is 11000 per year though the course is of science stream. We also get the immense opportunity to get scholarships also.

Campus Life

Delhi University is commonly known for its societies and extracurricular activities. There are various societies present within the campus to pursue the interests respectively. There are almost all sports present in university.

The real college experience

Placement Experience:

Gargi, like most other delhi colleges, has a standard placement cell. Students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester onwards, but most requirements happen during the final year. The companies that visit are primarily ed tech based ventures or marketing, HR firms and sales firms. A few that have collaborated over the year has been EY, Decathlon, Urban Company, Deloitte and so on. in terms of packages, the highest that had been around 15-17lpa, and the average package is 4-5lpa. About 20-30% of the batch gets placed during placement interviews while many try to pursue other opportunities or off-campus venues.

ANDC= The most average old school type campus life

Course Curriculum Overview:

as the everyone know for computer science b tech is the best course but there is to much rush for b tech and i dont want to waste my college life or campus life on engenerring degree which dont give me placements thats why i choose for bsc hons cs in du to enjoy the campus life. if you study well in this course it will definately help vo in job interview making your resume good and skills better. the teaching method should be more practical than doing on notebooks or oraly. the datesheet and timings of exams are preety good and the difficulty of exam are moderate the ones who prepares will definately score good marks and can maintain better cgpa.

Good for science courses but infrastructure and surrounding area is not good

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are average. There is a placement cell in our college that is mostly run by students only. Average placement package is 3 to 4 LPA. Companies like Wipro, TCS that visits our college for placements. 5 and 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. 60 to 100 students per year get placements.

Placement Experience:

One can easily view the placement statistics of our college on their website. The placement cell of the college manages the placement process. On first glance, it appears impressive. But most of the placements are in similar fields of commerce like consulting or finance, followed by Arts and Science courses getting the least amount of placements. I personally have no faith in my course getting me any placement. So I'm preparing for government exams anyways.

A first look at Zakir Husain Delhi College.

I applied to colleges like Jamia Millia Islamia but I fell short of the cut off marks. It was mainly due to the reason that I hadn't really prepared for the examination as I was busy preparing for my boards and CUET. The admission process for Zakir Husain is the same as any other college of Delhi University.
