Remarks :

The admission process was very smooth, all the admission process were completed within a date , the eligibility for the course is that you should complete your +2 board exam with PCM and you should give any of the following entrance exam :- JEE mains , OJEE, centurion university own exam , you can find the application form from the website as well as in campus too.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I want to pursue my career in the computer science field, in BTech cse each section have approximately 60 students, all most all the professor have Masters degree and some have Ph.D. qualifications, approximately all the professor are good in cse branch but there are always few exceptional teachers who are neither good at teaching or good at giving grades, each semester takes around 4 months -5 months.

Class Size : 270Course Fees : INR 135000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure will be given at the time of admission and their won't be any changes for your batch in the academic fees ....but the hostel fee may vary each year or may be constant. You can get scholarships also at this university, if you are a resident of Odisha the scholarship opportunities are, and also if you score 8 cgpa each year you get a scholarship for the academic fee, The placement cell is very good in this university and almost all the students get placed with the help of placement cell its very very rare that any student doesn't get any placement, but the average package is almost around 4.5 lakh for average students, students who are good in their domain skills may get 6.5 lakh easily if they excel in their domain, students who are not very good in academic also get placement but with the low package.

Campus Life :

Life at the campus may be exciting in starting but after 3-4 months it will get boring a lot, especially for the hostellers because you have to get a gate pass from the hostel and each time you need your parent's permission to go out, annual fest gajajyoti, to be honest, is not as exciting as it should be as far as tech fest goes hackathon are conducted here. In conclusion in a matter of fests, this university wouldn't be considered a top-class university.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements where they have to show their skills to the interviews in order to get placement. The name of the companies visited are Infosys, Oracle, Dalmia, Tata. The average package the companies give is around 3 to 4 lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to already settle by getting a placement.

According to seniors , placements are good and decent comparing to other nits . After 6 semester , company are hiring for placements . Many companies has visited more than enough . Highest package I seen in 23 is 1.12 CR in rubrik from senior . My plans after degree is doing sde job at company.

Reality of GIFT college

Placement Experience:

Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)

This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.
