Remarks :
I was qualified based on the cut-off received on my 12th standard and I chose Instrumentation Engineering as I find interest in this discipline. There are many disciplines and colleges available based on the cut-off and category.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this stream as it is a combined study of electrical, electronics and Instrumentation. There are a lot of faculties and each subject will be handled by different faculties in respective semesters. The teaching was good and clear. Exams were conducted regularly and the level was moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
Many IT companies are offered and a little core companies take place. The IT companies are offered with a stipend of 300000-400000 and core companies are offered with a stipend of 250000-375000. Projects in various fields are examined and the outcome is graded with best remarks.
Placement Experience :
Students become eligible for campus placements once they complete their fifth semester. Many offers are made right from the third year till the final year gets completed. 80% of students get placed and the remaining chose to go for higher studies. Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Schneider Electric, Sutherland, etc. are some companies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is 1,25,000 for the government quota and 1,65,000 for the management quota. Scholarships are available and provided for students under different schemes and immediately proceeded once the required documents are submitted. Lots of campus placement is offered and I was offered a stipend of 375000.
Campus Life :
Sports are much more focused and concentrated on sports persons only. The classroom is provided with good space and a comfortable atmosphere where the full-fledged focus is made. Each stream has a separate department library and a central library with 1000s of books available.
