Remarks :

The admission takes place based on Pre agricultural test (90% seats) and the ICAR exam (10%seats). PAT exam is of 200 marks and to get admission to the Btech program nearly 115-130 are the minimum safe marks. Application forms are available on the mppeb website. It requires a detailed filling, upload of photographs, signatures, and then payment. Post application mppeb releases admit card which tells the date and center of examination as per the selected choice of centers.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose the course as I was informed that it has great scope in the future and there are various options to go after the course. We have 84 students in our class and every semester 8-9 faculty members teach us. The teaching methods of professors are up to the mark but guest faculties don't teach well. The teaching medium is English and Hindi as per suitability. Exams are well scheduled and exam information is given way earlier. Exams are medium-level and can be passed easily if one studies at least enough.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible in the 8th semester for campus placements. As per the situation now not many companies visit the college for campus drives as students take up jobs and then don't join them earlier. Very few students take up jobs from campus placements. The average package Initially is 3-4 LPA but it increases as high as up to 8-10lpa in about 3 -4 years. After the program, most students go for higher education through the GATE exam. The college has an excellent record in the GATE examination. Every year 30-40 students qualify for the exam and AIR 1-3 is always from this college. Other students go for the Agricultural field officer AFO examination. Other options are FCI and NABARD examinations.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Since I'm from the general category with 84% in CBSE I didn't get any scholarship but my friends from other categories and also generally above 75% in MP board and 85% in CBSE get a scholarship. Students selected from ICAR get a scholarship from the central government (ICAR). Scholarships like medhavi are provided to all students who are above 75% in the MP board and 85% in CBSE. The scholarship is nearly equal to the semester fee. Other SC/ST/OBC-specific scholarships are also provided.

Campus Life :

A musical club named Abhivyakti is run by students of the college. Students also participate in TIFAN which is a technology innovation forum for agriculture nurturing where they design agricultural machinery. The college has a library with books available and seating available. The classes are equipped with green boards and CCTV cameras. Also, Hitech classes are provided with a projector, AC, and computer operating system. A cultural fest is conducted every year but I have not witnessed it because of COVID. Sports meet is also conducted annually. Games like table tennis, volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, badminton, and athletics are played. The college has the feasibility to the university playground and stadium which has a huge outdoor and indoor ground. The stadium also contains a swimming pool. Students are allowed to learn to swim at specific times during the year. The stadium contains gym facilities, table tennis courts, badminton courts, etc.

Campus Placement of this college is very good means 95% oif the students were placed. from 6th semester you'll able to get placed but i recommend to complete the studies. Placement Experience:

The campus is quite good, in a class of 70 students 50 get placed in a company. Although the average placement is Rs. 650000. some people get 16 lakhs 17 lakhs, 20 lakhs and some 44 lakhs. Many companies visit our campus just as SAP, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI, etc. The highest packet of the previous year is 44 lakhs in Google and our average package is 650000. 75% + students are getting placed. I have planned to get a good job at a big MNC.

Placements are good for only CSE with an average package of around 5 LPA. Companies like Infosys, cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Amazon, Capgemini, and tech Mahindra come for campus recruitment. No core companies visit here. If you are going for a core job you have to apply off-campus or prepare for the GATE exam.
