Remarks :

The admission was through a separate exam conducted for bams, bhms, but, etc. at all Indian levels. The eligibility criteria for this exam are that you have to score 70% in PCB (10+2). Now admission to BAMS is through the NEET exam. 100 candidates are allotted seats for the bams course. Seats are reserved for OBC and SC/ST candidates. An improvement I suggest for the admission process is that admission of new batch every year should be conducted timely & for bams, you should prepare to study basic Sanskrit & Hindi. Because in bams a student going to study Ayurved as well as modern art in every aspect.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I want to become a doctor, and as an ayurvedic doctor, we have a specialty of treating people without any side effects, yes if you follow a balanced diet & routine you'll never get that disease back. Faculty: student ratio is very good, as there are a good number of faculty who are highly trained as all of them are Postgraduates/Ph.D. etc. The teaching methods of each professor might be different but most of them are very good in their fields. The exam is conducted annually in every prof. You have to be a little focused on theories as well as on the practical side & you'll get a good result.

Internships Opportunities :

The stipend for 1year internship is 15500 per month. There is a 9-month internship at ch Brahm Prakash ayurvedic hospital & 3-month allopathic internship either from Rao Tula ram hospital or you can do it from Deen Dayal Upadhyay hospital.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Including academic fees, books, hostel fees, and expenses on food because there is no arrangement of the mess it will cost you approx 1lakh 20 thousand per year to study in CBPACS. There is no type of scholarship we get during the course, also no other type of financial assistance. But there are some seats reserved for students of the same college getting admission in Post graduate in this college.

Campus Life :

Fest conducted in February - March College fest name - Aaghaz University fest name - Anugoonj A plenty number of books are available in the library for every prof. And also given to some candidates having reservation. Classrooms are wide with plenty of space. Amenities- seats for every student, green board, projectors, fans, plenty of windows for circulation of air, etc. Sports played - volleyball, cricket, race, long jump, shot put, badminton, table tennis, etc. Extracurricular activities - Dance, singing, Mr & ms fest, antakshari, poetry, essay writing, painting, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

Rooms are allotted to every student with a bed, a study table, a chair, an almirah, a side table, mattress. Meals in the canteen are below average. The registration process for the hostel was easy & affordable back then but now the hostel fee is increased. Rooms can be rented in najafgarh, global solera apartment.

Other Applied Colleges

Dyal Singh College - [DSC] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Life Sciences)

I always wanted to become a doctor.

Remarks:

There are only 100 seats for the course, which of course is a great thing because all the faculties interact personally with us. It's easy for us and them to keep track of each other and everything else that goes on in the institute. Being a government institute, the fees are very feasible too, and there is great exposure in outside commercial industries too, because we have a compulsory internship program.

Admission:

The admission process first starts by filling the entrance exam form - the NEET exam - then you prepare for the exam and attempt it. Then you get the results and if you meet the required criteria, you're through. From there all the legal process starts. Which is the payment of counseling fees, registration on the institute's official website and all the legal document verification. Then the seats are allocated to the students who satisfy the criteria and you have to quick and fast to freeze the allocated seats, as there are only 100 seats, they fill up pretty fast. Now, you can withdraw the fee refund and report to the institute if you secure your spot. Spot counseling round is conducted now, after the initial main counseling round, students still have the chance to get into the institute if they haven't before. After all the counseling rounds - the main counseling round and the spot counseling round - the vacant seats are filled and a new fresh session begins.

Placement Experience:

They have a compulsory internship at Ch. Brahm Prakash Ayurved Charak Sansthan in the 5th year of college For job opportunities, you have to pass an entrance exam again. Also being a government college during your internship there will be many offers for you from some private hospital to work in their hospital. Having a compulsory internship program is extremely beneficial to the students as we a crystal clear idea of the commercial world.
